Only by Canelo fans was the loss celebrated. I am no GGG fan and I defended that BS draw and the 2nd bad decision, as did others I know that don’t like him did.

Yeah he was called bumlovkin by a poster that was very critical of his resume. I thought that was funny tbh.

Ok. Loma was and that is a fair opinion. He didn’t get called over rated until he lost to Teo and Haney.

Notice though you are discussed 2 different criticisms. I am talking about the exact same criticism being used over decades with different boxers-hence the term disturbing pattern.

You haven’t shown a pattern. You’re highlighting criticisms. Every boxer gets criticized. No problem with that. But why is it always a question of who the guys I listed fought?

I think my point is clearly stated. I am not talking about criticisms, I am discussing the same ones being used for certain fighters.

I was saying the poster came up with that name. You are correct it was used often.

I think he is absolutely correct.

Everyone sees the comments directed at Roy and Floyd. Now it’s Tank.

Nobody wants to see Roy Floyd or even Tank lose.

They just want to see them in there with fighters who don't fold up the tent when they get hit, and can hit them back.

Looks like Tank has found that nemesis, Roy had Tarver, but Floyd was too petrified and kept cherrypicking.

It's not too much to ask for fighters in Tank's predicament to earn their money, and get those excuse making yes men surrounding them to keep it a buck with them every once in a while.

GGG is the most hated I think. (You can pretty much say the same with either Pac or Floyd, but they have equal proportion of haters, so that cancels each other out.)

There wasn't a day where there's new 5 hate threads about GGG in this site during his time even loong before Canelo became a rival.

Again those are not repetitive criticisms applied to multiple boxers like Loma. I don’t see why you keep dancing around that point.

I am fine with fair criticism. What is disturbing is the same criticisms applied to boxers that only have one thing in common.

The other difference is Loma had already lost. I was pointing out how the same tired BS- he hasn’t fought anyone - was being applied to undefeated boxers just because they hadn’t lost and people wanted to see them lose.

its to do with HYPE as well guys get hyped up by FANS which triggers fans of other fighters countries etc and off it goes just because loma lost his second fight he got back on TRACK once again and it was the same thing no different same with ggg same with wilder same with floyd and tank at the end of the day once all fighter fight top guys they generally LOSE one or a few or get home town decisions to help them rince and repeat!!!
