Secondly, Morell made Benavidez to look average, at best!
Thirdly, both Benavidez and Morell DO NOT BELONG to the elite. Not 168, nor 175.
Canelo, Beterbiev and Bivol will shred any of the two to pieces.

I mean no disrespect. So please don't take this the wrong way but what you've just posted is completely rubbish. Of all the names you've just mentioned and for the exception of Dmitry Bivol; David Benavidez mops the floor with all of them and that includes Canelo Alvarez as well.

If that's the face of Boxing I don"t want to see it after either Bivol or Beterbiev ...
Funny thing is if he get stopped by beterbiev he wont look half as bad as he will if he gets sliced up by Bivol for 12 rounds.

I am, it hurts me to say it, a very old man. I'm so old I can remember being 40 & how comparatively great that felt. Even so, when I was 40 I wouldn't have much wanted to be pushed to beyond my physical limit by a big dog who was 12 years younger than me. Beterbiev brings terrifying power & respectable boxing skills but I don't think he is going to enjoy fighting Benavidez at all. Benavidez he one bad MoFo.

He has a definitely made a fan out of me. Actually both guys did; David Morrell as well. The difference was Morrell's lack of fundamentals and experience.

One can say what they want or will about David Morrell but I thought he displayed a very courageous and spirited effort against Benny; Along with a huge championship heart.

Damn! It was just mind boggling how we was able to him absorb that amount of punishment from Benavidez without clinching or going down.

Even though he was getting his ass whupped; Benavidez still was unable to faze, buzz, hurt, stop or drop this kid.
Every time he got hit he always came back at Benny.

While even rocking and dropping him at the same time. He has definitely made of fan out of me too with just eleven professional bouts.
Morrell has a lack of fundamentals and experience??

          Isnt he a 152-2 amateur??

Yeah... But all Beterbiev "victims" need a face lift after their fight... Either way the Monster doesn't want to literally look like one... So ...

Thank you. I do appreciate your response.

I’m seeing them Morell boys inventing another Boogeyman in Beterbiev.
Pretty sure when Benavidez beats him, they’ll find another Boogeyman or give us the OLD excuse.

How did Benavidez look average in closing Morrell down & beating him like an old carpet? What should the man have done? I don't think Benavidez will ever fight Bivol because I don't see Bivol beating Beterbiev, but Bivol probably could cause Benavidez more trouble than anyone else. We've already seen that Canelo would rather gnaw his own toes off than get in the same ring as Benavidez. Beterbiev is a scary beast, but he's a 40 year old scary beast & IMO, when they get in the ring Benavidez will carry him at a speed he can't cope with.

'Benavidez gave a good account of himself yesterday and more importantly he improved since his last fight at 175 where he really struggled with his stamina in the second half of the fight against Gvozdyk. Yesterday, he was strong and accurate and his defense was excellent, but at the same time Morrell showed us that Benavidez he can be hurt when the punches land cleanly. I would love to watch Benavidez vs Beterbiev - it would be an absolute war for as long as it lasted.'

If I'm in Benavidez' corner I'm not going to suggest he stands right in front of one of the hardest punchers in boxing & has a war. I'm going to suggest he uses footwork & a jab for, at least, the first 6 rounds & then slowly tightens pressure. Beterbiev has great skills as well as almost superhuman power but he isn't lightning fast &, at 40, his speed & stamina won't improve. To me, if I'm in camp Benavidez, I'm looking for a late stoppage or a wide decision, much the same as he just achieved in fact.

Seems to me Benavidez has reached his peak and Morrell is a couple years away from his peak.

And Bennie did nothing ti scare away Canelo. In fact, I'd bet that Saul will pick him as an opponent next May.

Both Bivol and Beterbiev maul him.
