It's great that BoxingScene reads the comments and better still to have some feedback and engagement with the writers. It's also a very general diagnostic of my reading habits here to see if I remember any or all of the featured comments.
7 for 7 this week, woo hoo.

thing is, before Wilder fought Fury, Curtis was exactly the class of fighter that Wilder made a WBC living off of.

Sam Goodman was praying that Inoue would just drop the belt. only a total idiot gets cut 2x that close to big fights. I think it's more strategic. Goodman gets demolished by Inoue and knows it. so they would rather skip the beating and hope he moves up and they get a gimme fight for a trinket

how would Loma "shoulder the blame" for Tank and his ppl saying they didn't want that fight, or that he wasn't ready for Loma? that is silly. they waited him out like Mayweather did Pacquaio.

I was bored to tears in both Fury Usky bouts. Apart from that one moment when it looked like Usyk might shock the world and get the KO. I thought Fury did enough in the other rounds to at least get the draw.

Alot of that is on Usyk. He just isn't an exciting fighter at HW. Yes his skills are all top shelf and he is a great fighter. But he does just enough to not get hurt badly, while winning on flurries (many of which don't land cleanly, but still catch the judges eyes) and he just doesn't have great finishing power at the weight. It is impressive that he is beating guys with size advantages. But it isn't all that exciting to watch IMO.

I am a fan of both guys. They are both approaching 40 and as I have said in other posts, really it just shows the state of the sport. Usyk could have committed to the KO in the 9th. Fury couldn't pull the trigger many times. It looked like what is was to me....two millionaire guys getting old and there to not get stopped. Versus what we would get with two young guys with fire in their belly, there to take the belts.

            Both fights a draw IMO.

Lara has still never faced a world class middleweight. How long has it been since he fought a credible opponent?

He is 40 and still no good 160 is willing to fight him.

Yeah it’s great also if they could fix the site and maybe get rid of all the bots and while they’re at it , maybe get rid of some posters who rip off other sites and try to make it their own

Nobody asks PBC the obvious questions - why not make a 160 unification between Adames and Lara? Why not make a 147 unification between Stanionis and Barrios? Crickets.
