My point being that using the case of Canelo doing a two division jump against Kovalev and winning has almost zero meaning toward justifying Crawford's jump of two divisions to fight Canelo because the premise is extremely different.

Fair enough, Canelo was certainly in his prime when he did that jump, but Im pretty sure he only had the Chavez jr fight at at 164 catchweight prior, technically he was still campaigning at 160 but hey man Canelo has been around taking big fights since he was 22 yo, not his fault Crawford a late starter. Yes, Bud is about to turn 38...but still undefeated in his game.

        we'll see what happens.

Crawford is significantly older than when Canelo made the two weight jump, and never fought above 154 in his career?

He fought Callum at 168, dropped to 160 for Jacobs, then 175 for Kov.

              Ok
For a minute I thought you were gonna pull some dumb ass reason totally oblivious to the fact
Yes I agree that this is a big task but I think he really has a decent chance of winning

Lol I bet you didn't say sht back when both Floyd and Cotto imposed rehydration clauses on the ginger and lets not act like those type of clauses are just a Canelo thing, those have existed for ages, and btw,Jacobs didn't even honor that sht, still got his ass outboxed. Lol.
