Exactly! I was living in Vegas at the time when they announced their foray into boxing...claiming boxing will be back on free TV, etc etc. What a fcukin let down
It was terrible. Everyone was used to tuning in on to HBO or Showtime on Saturday nights and that got messed up.El_Mero likes this.

They fragmented the boxing world even more than it already was and HBO/Showtime got out of the game soon after.
In a perfect world I wish Turki would've used Amazon Prime or Netflix as his main platform instead of DAZN, as that would've brought all major US/UK promotions on the same
Also, another thing to consider is that Teiken also uses Amazon Prime Japan (although they are more willing to cross promote regardless of platform), so that basically would've covered world wide.

Nope
They are in talks with Netflix
Netflix is trying to compete with Prime and are willing to get into combat sports hence MVP
As someone in Japan right now my preference of platform is Amazon > Netflix >>>>> DAZN for the sake of easy access but hopefully Netflix gets their streaming service up to par in that case.

Even WWE signed a big deal with them
That first fight was huge and they weren’t expecting that but since no streaming problems or lags
