Jai has got skills but he’s a chinny Aussie who will be stopped by the Mexican prince. Just you wait !

I'm glad Zurdo has been looking good enough lately to make this fight look more competitive. I don't think it's 50-50, but it's at least interesting if it gets made, and credit to him that he's willing to unify. They need to get to work so there's a clear target if Usyk wants to tempt history and drop down again.

Wrong guess. African here. Big Zurdo fan. Watched him once live here in Oklahoma city. My money will be on Zurdo. He is that good with no special effects or frills. Opetaia is as overrated as Zurdo is underatted ....by casuals!!!

Think Zurdo would win this match up, not that I am underestimating Jai who has great athletic ability and punching power. Just think Ramirez has displayed a pretty resilient chin and ability to recover against strong punchers. He also has displayed more wrinkles to his game being able to make immediate adjustments at Cruiserweight.

Think Zurdo will have a hard time in the initial rounds but will eventually drown Jai in a battle of attrition and skill. As Zurdo's conditioning/stamina has been shown to be quite good, as he has a high punch output and while he is not a knockout artist, has left Arsen/Chris quite worse for wear than he was.

Out of interest why would an African mad that they ‘don’t excite in HW decision anymore’ want a half Polynesian Australian to win over a Mexican? Just curious

I imagine The Samoan Warrior in Jai says different.

Jai should win. He’s naturally bigger, more skilled and can really punch.

I do have my concerns regarding his durability and engine and feel like if Zurdo can press the action from early (without taking too much punishment or being stopped) he could have some real success in the second half of the fight.

                    Great fight

friendly rivalry between American blacks and mexicans

the two groups in boxing that regularly churn out elite talent

Polynesians are genetically closest to yellow skin asians

but are seen as honorary blacks in some parts of the US
