Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson tells Moses Itauma how to follow in his footsteps

Moses Itauma has made it a habit of stopping all of his opponents in their tracks, as he did again Saturday in Saudi Arabia by flattening Australian Demsey McKean in the first round.

Good advice. When Tyson was young and fighting often he was unstoppable. He would be the guy to turn off the lights at the gym and he would fight anyone.

When he made money, became famous and everything world had to offer was available to him he did what he always wanted to do - stopped training, chased women all day long (many women every single day) and spent the night at the club drinking and taking drugs.

Moses is good but, we don't know how good. Yesterday's performance was impressive, but both knock downs came from a basic 1-2. Until he fights someone who can fight back and not fall for the basic shots we have no idea.

Very impressed from what he's showed. Heck, he beats some of the top ten heavyweights now.

He might be one of the yougest champions since Mike Tyson.

Of course, you don't want to hype them too soon. As a comparison though, I can see he's a much better fighter than the other one, J.Anderson, that was overrated.

Itauma is the most impressive young heavyweight out there. Let’s see if he fulfills all of his potential.

Why not someone like Joe Joyce next?

See if he can take him out in a few rounds.

Joe Joyce or Dillian Whyte should be next.

              I think he’s knock Dillian ‘Britain’s Crumber 1’ Whyte’s head clean off

Tyson was a cowardly bully who got massacred any and every time someone fought back.
Buster never gets the credit he deserves from you groupies.

It is actually very hard to match someone with this level of offensive skills because you want him to go rounds but remember he has only had 9 pro fights, doesn't have huge amatuer experience & is only 19. There is no way I would throw him in with Wallin or Fabio Wardley who are both, arguably top 10 or 15 in the world in only his 10th fight! Equally, he definitely needs to be stepped up. Next fight Ajagba or that Italian guy would be possible, then a bit further on Charles Martin, Jarrell Miller or a last payday for Dillian. If he gets through those he would be ready for Wallin. Fabio can hit like an absolute beast. I have no doubt that in time Itauma will be able to beat Fabio but I wouldn't rush that one.
