That was awful waste of time. McKean's got dropped by a basic 1-2, then got KO'd by the same basic 1-2. Dude came to get paid.

Definitely the most interesting prospect in a long time. The speed has been too much for everyone so far. The weaknesses of Itauma haven’t been on display yet. Each fighter has them but that speed will be a tuff pill for any heavyweight.
I wonder if the time of the super heavyweight is now over with Usyk being the champ and Itauma destroying dudes much bigger who have done well against top names in recent history.
Skills pay the bills while speed gets the kills.pnut901 likes this.

Itauma hasn't put a foot wrong so far, but I've never seen him get hit yet, eventually he will, and until then I don't know enough about him to go overboard.
His hand speed is ridiculous though, and I felt that McKean might actually frustrate him a bit but I was definitely wrong there.

The "face off" between Itauma and McKean in the lead up to the fight was interesting. Itauma was very relaxed and when asked by the host who hits harder, Itauma said "him" and said McKean can probably take a better punch too but it doesn't matter because it's how you use your skills in the ring and that nobody should ever brag about now good of a punch they can take.
For a 19 year old, he just seemed incredibly grounded and at ease for someone his age on that stage.
