Unless Espinoza takes back his talk about moving up after this fight, it sounds like a case of Espinoza fully knowing Inoue has most of 2025 already planned out and he's leaving the division before Inoue gets up there so getting his name out to claim ducking fully knowing he won't have to fight him ever.BoxWhere likes this.

I'm surprised that no one has called Espinoza a weight bully . He's the tallest 126 Champion in history , maybe the tallest 126 fighter ,and weighed 144 and some ounces after rehydrating. I get it , he still made 126 for all of a minute or two but the height , reach , and weight advantages are a lot to contend with. If I were Inoue ,I'd tell him to go fight someone his own size. Same with the Fundoras.BoxWhere likes this.

I'm sure Inoue will fight him IF he is still there with a belt on him. If he wants to get some dibs go unify a belt or two and wait in line. But frankly I think Espinoza is leaving the division next year before Inoue goes up and his fans will claim that Inoue ducked him or something like that.

I thought he realized what he just spit out at a certain point , his face kind of looked a
little disoriented
My problem was him not retracting or justifying what he just said and decided to stick to that line of thinking
Mind you I was watching it on the ESPN+ and he had the time to regurgitate what he said when they were doing their segment him ,Tim and Tessitore ( don’t recall what they call it )PBR Streetgang likes this.

It is kind of like American Idol winners never following that win with anything substantial afterwards.
Many can’t make the switch and when they actually begin to , it takes them away from what they were taught their whole life , hence making it harder for them
Some try to carry that over to the pros ( Cubans ) we’re always known to bring their amateur ways until slowly shifting awayJohan_Hurry likes this.
