I think the REAL plan is for Sheeraz to beat both Adames and Lara (huge ask) before facing Janibek in another massive undisputed clash in Saudi. If Janibek beats him, I think he'll move up as he's already massive for the weight.

They just wanted an easier route for Sheeraz. No great sin. Adames is a more winnable fight right now. That talk of unification is rubbish. Bentley doesn't even deserve a shot at Janibek, and has virtually no chance of beating him. A unification with Janibek after a defense or two is more likely.
