I hear u but I wish more fighters stayed in their division and unified. I hate all the jumping around weights for a fight or two when we have so many champions in each weight class already

      Legacy you say
Boots rejected a fight with Bud when Bud was at 147 and now he rejected Ortiz at 154.

Boots actually changed.his modus operandi when he realized he was to be Buds mando lmao
Boots refused not one but two fights against Bud
The ex Spence fans have all mounted the hypetrain that is Boots but coincidentally none have made a splash since he decided not to fight Ortiz

          Nothing like true boxing fans

This right here is just not a good look for Boots, too many smoke and mirror around the guy and especially in this case when it looks like Hearn may have been trying to make the Ortiz fight at the behest of Turki and Boots and his team probably pulled the rug from underneath them. We 've been reading how Ortiz was all giddy and up for the fight while Boots had been lukewarm to the idea of that fight.

I believe the goal all along was and has been Mario Barrios. I 've maintained the day Boots fights somebody who can match him in physicality and who can punch, he 'll likely be in trouble in that fight. Ortiz was going to present those two qualities so am not surprised they swerved that fight. If he goes on to fight unifications, then I guess you can cut him a lil slack but if it is the Karens or Avanesyan's of the world again, then I will consider him a total fraud.

It is true that we do not know what goes on behind the scenes. But what we do know is this - Boots has been offered to step up three times, twice Bud and once Ortiz and he found a way each time not to accept the step up in class. Is there a better opportunity than to fight for Turkis money on a mega card? I guess it is possible. I just don't know what that is because he does not have any unifications lined up. If he did we would all know about it from Eddie.

Ennis himself indicated he's set for a showdown with Oritz next after the Karen2 fight. That's why this whole "changed mind" thing is a legit discussion. And here we have him saying he actually hasn't made up his mind whether to move up or not, not to mention him lying he knew nothing about the negotiations basically throwing Hearn under the bus. Of course he knew. And looking at his recent pictures on social media, he's looking like a middleweight.

Boots you didn't address anything! You said with your words you would face Ortiz or any top fighter- it presented itself and you DUCKED!! All the respect we give to you and what you deserve and you dropped the ball period-- 154 fighting him wouldn't bother you because you are the best right??
