Ben humiliated lessor competition but the first time he faces a fairly basic, off the rack, guy Ben folded up and quit because he's not a fighter he's just another ass-hole bully in a sport with too many bullshyters.
I'm not sure Frazer should fight again, even if he passes the BBBoC tests. What happened to him was horrific. IDK Frazer, he probably is a lovely guy but I guess he might be an awful toerag, I still don't want to see a boxer get hurt. I feel very uneasy about that man getting in a ring again.
As for Whittaker, his performance v Cameron left him with 3 alternatives, 2 of which were honourable. (1) He could say 'look, I won a silver medal, that is a real achievement. It turns out I'm not made to be a pro boxer, so, I'll get a job. In the end if I end up working in Darlaston B&Q I'll be the only guy there with an olympic medal' or (2) He could say 'Cameron was an alarm call, I've sacked my entire team, I've got serious, there will be no mo showboating, I'm not Sugar Ray Leonard. I'm taking this for real & in a rematch with Cameron I'll show what I can do'. (3) he can say 'If i'm going to keep the great British public interested in this schtick I need to stay away from guys with a pulse'. Sadly, I think he has chosen the dishonourable option so """" him.
I don't get the hate on Whittaker. Yeah he showboats so look like people were waiting on his downfall. But everyone exaggerrates that fight. I watched it back. Gave Whittaker first 3 rounds and Cameron the last 2. So why are people acting like Ben got beats up yeah he was getting caught them last 2 rounds more but was still winning 3-2. And regarding the push it is literally Cameron who initiated it he is the one in front Whitaker had his backs to the rope. It was Cameron hugging him then putting his weight on him to push them out. If the rematch happens Whittaker wins.
Anyone who thinks Whittaker quit is ****** i can't see it why would he quit against someone he was (in my opinion) beating 3 rounds to 2, he would know fans would rip him like they are doing. Hopefully Cameron is stopped in the rematch for that dirty push over the ring in the first.

Because he wasnt beating him. He was getting handled. Its not really hard to figure out.
And now anybody else he fights will know that he's not as good as his fans claimed (so no more aura there to help him) and he's a quitter. He's a sitting duck if he fights a half decent guy.
Either of these guys can come back from these setbacks. There are plenty of fighters who have had their hearts and priorities questioned and come back to at least have good careers.
Or...
Either of these fighters could be done and this fight card in the spring will show it. Kind of up to them, ain't it?
