Hey Shakur if you wanted to fight bytch azz Zapeda and lil Floyd then why didn't you just sign with Oscar and GBP? Eddie Hearn couldn't get Andrade and Devin any big fights. Why do you think it would be any different for you and Boots? Is it because he offered you the "platinum n***a package" of gold chains diamond necklaces and 24" rims? You gotta stop falling for the BS champ!

Eddie's a prick and Shakur is boring but as of right now he actually is in a decent spot. Given Schofield himself been campaigning himself to replace Zepeda he'll likely take the offer or look like a real pathetic ducking fool, and Zepeda is the interim to WBC Shakur now so he'll have to fight Shakur anyway later in an "unification", which could come in later 2025, assuming Shakur fights Schofield in Feb 22 and Zepeda some random stay busy dude in March.

Zepeda struggling against Farmer really put a dent on Oscar's plans IMO. In a perfect world Zepeda would've excelled against Farmer then defeated Shakur on the Feb Riyadh card, and Schofield would've been on the path for eventually fighting WBO (winner of Berinchyk-Keyshawn) or IBF after Loma eventually retires and vacates, or if anything be the mando to Tank for good money in the future.

Floyd Schofield has good attributes and tons of potential, but still quite green, with a thin resume. Don't know what kind of challenge it will be for Shak.

It won't be that big of a challenge, but for Schofield if he's gonna take on a world title fight while still green Shakur actually might be the best choice.

1) It's a Riyadh world title card that he'll get great money for, probably better than anything he can dream of in the next few years fighting random contenders in US while hoping for a Tank jackpot.
2) He will gain good experience at world level without having to worry about too much lingering physical damage absorbed.
3) His name will get on the radar and at his young age an UD loss to Shakur won't hinder his career that much unlike losing at age 28 or 29 like Zepeda.
4) If for some great surprise he wins then he's suddenly the future of 135 and can become a much bigger star overnight.

Probably the best timing to lose your zero at 135 and doesn't stall your career for years waiting for Tank.

Oscar might want to tell Schofield to STFU asap then, because Shakur isn't the one calling him out but its Schofield's side (maybe to the dismay of Oscar) that is calling to be the replacement after the Zepeda injury. And to add on, Eddie already confirmed sending an offer so blaiming Shakur of not wanting to face Schofield won't be usable either.

Schofield will look real dumb unless Oscar can comeup with a real witty response on why he denied the offer other than flatout admitting "he's gonna lose so I don't want it" which would hurt his value too. He already accepted the Zepeda offer once so they are certainly capable of coming to an agreement financially if that was the only issue.

Yes, the likely obvious reality is that Oscar thought Zepeda would run over Farmer and can win against Shakur so he signed it but after the results no longer confident in Zepeda winning, and never thought Schofield had even a sliver of chance. But he can't say that as a promoter.

I think the blunt truth to that is either:
1) Not many bother to watch/listen to Clap back Thursday and don't know about it,
2) No one really cares that much about some boxing promoters possibly cheating on their wives as much as other actual celebrity scandals,
3) Think Oscar is on his usual drug high,
