Lemos' camp blamed the father's medical issues as the reasoning the missed weight. When a fighter misses weight that bad, the resulting performance in the ring is usually subpar.

Good hometown win for Davis but I wouldn't put much stock into the performance against a fighter who didn't seem prepared whatsoever.

He looked fit. He just trained to fight at 147 instead of 135.

Let's see what Tank and PBC does. No reason this fight can't happen unless it's a clear Duck!! Bob can sure can groom great prospects.

Yes I agree he didn't have much fat on him. Something went wrong in camp where he missed time or his diet was off or what worked in the past with shedding weight no longer works on an older athlete.

Sounds like a lot of excuses to me. Lemos was prepared and nothing suggest he wasn't. He just lost and that's it.

I would love to see Keyshawn rematch Andy Cruz to see if he has really improved in the last 4 yours or he is just being carefully matched by the experts at Top Rank. I suspect he will not risk it before he gets a title and makes some real money first because Andy owned him last 4 times they fought in the amateurs.

He was so prepared that he didn’t make the weight.
