Saw that coming... He was at 140, and Davis was trying to weight drain him. Will be a better fight for it IMO.

I am sure they have known this for a while and had no intention of making the weight anyway. Hell, his last fight was at 140 lbs and he didn't even make that which means he didn't even try. It will make for an interesting fight as Lemos will have an almost Devin Haney like advantage.

If Lemos somehow defeats Keyshawn then he will be demanding Lemos to burn in fire. The main reason Garcia situation even got as big is because he won, no one would've cared had he missed weight and popped but still lost the fight.

Well, he would've been a laughing stock even more had he lost but Haney won't be screaming for NC thats for sure.

And therein lies the dilemma. "no one would've cared" = fake boxing fans. Rral fans like myself care if he makes weight because that means he's a professional within his craft. Now an entire group of people will just ignore the rules and turn this beautiful sport into a circus like BKFC!

well bad on Keyshawn for trying to weight drain him and bad on Lemos for not even making an effort and weighing in at 137/8 - I suspect they will both be about the same weight though when they step in the ring - Davis rehydrates a lot

Depending on the odds (like 3-1 or better) I'm having a punt on Lemos based off his last fight

Floyd Mayweather did this to Juan Manuel Marquez and Danny Jacobs did it to Canelo, nothing new here! Lemos was robbed in his last fight which was at 140, so don’t be mad cuz Lemos didn’t fall for Davis’ weight drain tactic! Hahaha
