Comments Thread For: No problem, concern or investigation surrounding gloves worn by Fabio Wardley

There was no objection from Frazer Clarke or his team about the gloves worn by Fabio Wardley prior to the latter winning their rematch, nor did the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) investigate said gloves after the brutal first round knockout in Saudi Arabia on October 12.

Sounds like much ado about nothing. Different gloves distribute the padding differently. Some are better for puncher's, some are better for those who have brittle hands, etc.

Wardley punches hard. It's not hard to see based on his previous fights.

Sounds like one rair was probably thinner than the other pair of gloves, but both are within the required regulations hence all for nothing.

Certainly a significant difference from the Margarito cheating case, that is for sure.

They have a point I seen some gloves are like bricks Reyes Mexican Gloves padding is thin. I find amazing is everybody is allowed to use any gloves one can have everlast and another winning. Should be all the same gloves

Who'd guessed custom made gloves that are made from soft supple premium leather (the same which is used in rolls royce) would feel and act somewhat differently to standard gloves

Margarito made his hands into concrete.

Yup, and from the moment it was removed he's a worthless chump who couldn't KO to save a life. Makes you wonder if he would've won anything in his career if not for his artificial help, but meh.
