Junto hit him so hard that Chitpattana shltabanana. It seemed like Nakatani was sleepwalking for 6rounds then woke up ,saw that he was actually in a fight and handled his business. I think that Naoya Inoue stops Nakatani if they fight.

Junto has IMO the best chance of anyone at 122 or below to beat Naoya, but I'm not sold that he will. He's only got 1" reach advantage and 3" height. He's pretty close to the same size as Donaire. That's a fabulous fight though. Would be fun to watch as long as it lasted.pnut901 likes this.

Junto is a smart fighter just like Inoue and with the height/reach advantage, I give the fight to Junto.... Junto is pretty much a copy version of Inoue but taller with longer reach.

However given current skills, age, experience and competition, If they were to fight next year 2025 at 122 I'd say Inoue will still win.
In terms of passing the baton, it would be quite dramatic if next year 2nd half Inoue (age 32) and Nakatani (age 27) fight at 122, then rematch at 126 as the undisputed 126 Inoue (age 35) vs the undisputed 122 Nakatani (age 30) for possibly his final fight of his career?
Of course I certainly won't be looking forward to Inoue losing and I think he'll still go undisputed, but if it is going to happen given the age difference I feel like it will be Nakatani.

Junto will not make the same mistake.
