Gervonta must have allergic reaction to fighting guys in his weightclass. How on earth can Gervonta call himself the best while allowing 3 other guys in his weightclass to hold championship belts. Gervonta is a fraud.

Houston? Oh no, I won't be able to attend this exciting matchup where Gervonta chases greatness in the Super Featherweight division.

All sarcasm aside, I'm glad Roach likely gets a nice payday but Tank's choice of opponents leaves alot to be desired.

Yeah? Me and the missus will snatch up some ringside seats then. Hopefully PBC brings more fights to the Bayou City, especially during Black History Month and Juneteenth weekend

Houston's a good town for boxing events and PBC putting together fights during Black History Month and Juneteenth weekend is an excellent idea!

Not only that, while he was in the division he allowed someone else to become the undisputed champion. Keep in mind the reason Tank became a champion was because his fake regular belt got upgraded only after Haney vacated the actual belt.

I’m a huge Tank Davis fan, but more importantly I’m a huge BOXING fan. As much as I love Tank as a fighter, this fight makes no sense, and even lesser sense having it in Houston. I’m from the DMV and the only way this fight makes sense is if it’s in DC or Baltimore. Tank gets a pass from me if it’s in one of those areas because it would be a huge event for the area. But in Houston against Roach??? Nah, that’s unacceptable! After this fight I want to see Tank chase greatness! He has all the skills and abilities in the world. He has a solid resume against good B and C level opponents, but it’s time to take risks and display his gifts against the A level fighters. If this fight takes place somewhere in the DMV, I’ll be there cheering for this phenom! But if it’s in Houston, I won’t be able to defend that move whatsoever.

Now that you mention it, Houston does seem like a rather strange place for Tank fighting Roach. Wonder if he is on the undercard or a "co-main" of a bigger fight associated to Houston.
