It makes sense to think that he would have learned things and improved over time through experience. Dubois is a very dangerous opponent though imo.

so david thinks new AJ would smash old AJ in one round & i presume he thinks old AJ is better then dubois, so what would this new AJ do to dubois so? he probably wont even last 1 min in this case, we shall see

The narrative that AJ has a poor chin can't further from the truth. Only once in his entire that he has got knocked down by a punch on his chin, by Wlad, and he stood and went ahead to win that fight by the way of knocked out. Usyk Tyson Fury, especially TF has been knocked down by shot on the chin much more often than AJ.

I guess some folks are confused about a punch on the temple and a punch on the chin. The Ruiz knock out was a result of a hard punch on the temple which concussed him. Even some HOF boxers were knocked out by a punch on the temple during their careers.

AJ has far better chin than Fury who goes down each time his chin is touched, but he has a much better recuperation than AJ.

You make some very good points, but at the end if the day, does it matter whether it is a punch on the chin or a punch on the temple? AJ has been found to be vulnerable to getting punched back and against DDD that is a clear weakness. Unless he smokes Daniel in the first 3 rounds, AJ will have to deal with adversity as Daniel will definitely crack him. I don't know if it will be chin or temple, but he will have to deal with it and that is where the excitement in this fight comes from. They can both punch and they have both proven to be vulnerable to getting punched back.
