True but takeTank. If he were Tankovich from crapistan, the fact he gets just KO’s over his opponents would be fine.

With Tank’s KO wins, we see a lot of scrutiny of the opposition that boxers from Eastern Europe and Former Russian block nations don’t get.

Deep down, I think part of it is the sport is desperate for another Floyd. Lot of people see Tank and Shakur as having the potential to fill that slot. I also think they both use that as part of how they market themselves.

But neither has stepped up to do so, especially Shakur.

Golovkin is the most hated man in boxing. (Forget Mayweather and Pacquiao they're on their league of their own.)
Not a single day where he gets an average of 10 hate threads in this forum during his era. But I've never heard him or his fans complain about it's because of his being half-Asian. And he certainly wasn't a boring fighter.

Stevenson's case is nothing in comparison.

Not until much later, and mostly by Canelo fans. The majority didn’t criticize him at all.

That Is how it’s always been on this site- non American power punchers with high KO % get elevated early.

Dare I remind you of the fetish like worship of Lucas Matthysse. lol.

In their heyday, Andre Ward, was a brilliant but boring fighter and Roy Jones Jr. was a brilliant fighter and excitement personified. No, discrimination is the reason Shakur and Ward are considered boring fighters. They really are.
Agree with your opinions about Shakur, Ward and Jones. In what way do many black fighters face discrimination?

Win or lose, when was Lucas Matthysse ever in a bad fight?

Not the point. He was anointed as the next great thing because he had a high KO % and wasn’t American.

His losses to Zab and Devin were SD so he got even more slurpage because he was “robbed”.

He kod Mike Dallas jr and fools acted like he kod Ali.

                    It was out of control.

I did point out the Canelo fans hate.

On his come up, no one cared that he beat bums, just that he got KO’s.

The problem with Shakur here imo is his point is valid, but it doesn’t apply to him.

The criticism he gets for his fights isn’t the same as what Bhop talked about years ago regarding him, Sweet Pea, Floyd etc.

Hopefully, one of the OG’s in his camp sits him down and explains this to him.
