Her GWOAT problem is at heavyweight there are only 21 active hws, only 15 of which have ever won a fight and 11 of which are ranked as competent,
At the lighter weights , light weight and below it's hundreds of girls.

I'm not saying shes not a good fighter but picking up a belt at HW is meaningless, light weight is where the quality drops off, get to middleweight and there is a lot less competition, above that ..

Clarrissa is trying everything to gain traction with her career in order to be a huge star. There is simply no competition and there is no other fighter in the horizon that would start any type of buzz. Her lack of power is another hold back.

It's a shame she doesn't have someone like Anne Wolfe that could give her a proper test. Anne was a savage in the ring and displayed power and a penchant for violence that would have made things interesting.

I have tried to like and appreciate Shields but it's tough with some of the antics surrounding her. The beatdown of James Bashir Ali standing out in my head....and as I'm watching the fight last night, I believe I heard her followers chant "whoop that trick"...classy.

I think the only fighter on Claressas level as far as toughness and athleticism is Cyborg. But Claressa wins boxing and Cyborg wins in MMA so I think the only middle ground is BKFC.

Good for her getting a KO. That's all I want to say about that result.

Maybe she will challenge the 130 pound amateur white body who KHTFO in sparring, or even he real GWOAT Amanda or Katie. What a F-in joke

well, no. She is too enormous! She can't reach the Serrano's or Taylors where she would not be favored. Women are not suppose to be that big so she's the only one with talent around her.

I don't see people pointing out that fact with the other girls so just let Ms Shields enjoy her victory tonight without all the damn hate. Sheesh!
Yes - what’s all the vitriol here? I thought it was a masterful performance by Shields both on a technical and power level. Superb boxing skills and a great counter puncher as well.
