It's gotta be hard to remain defeated, while fighting opponents who are not used to losing. Stevenson will look great against some opponents, and ordinary against others. This is usually what can be expected when a fighter faces the best that's willing to get in the ring with him.
Out of the opponents that Shakur calls out, I only see Tank, Inoue and Teofimo giving him a run for his money (it will be a toss up - either Shakur will win or Shakur will lose). He'll beat everyone else.sege64 likes this.

And you have to understand how New Jersey works. They have a bad transit system and terrible roads. Folks usually have to leave everything early.

The Ancients created this sport to strictly kill or be killed but some millenial boxers are the complete opposite. Nothing sweet about any science in a friendly game of tag. Soft AF.
This era will be the death of boxing.

All this week “Shakur going to make a statement” and “He’s going for the stoppage” just to get another uneventful 12 UD. Who will 5-10 years from now say “let’s go watch the replay of the Stevenson fight against the Armenian guy”?
Please stop building up Stevenson as if he’s some unbeatable fighter. He definitely got skills but his inside game is weak, open for uppercuts as well. It’s time to get thrown to the fire, getting paid $3 million for snoozefest.
