Comments Thread For: Stolen valor? Robson Conceicao outclassed by O'Shaquie Foster, wins anyway

A decision rendered Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, was as bad as they come, with Robson Conceicao winning a 130-pound title despite being outlanded and seemingly outclassed by O'Shaquie Foster.

    This wasn't even close.

12-0 Foster would be a better card than 7-5 Conceicao.

I literally had that fight 120-108. I can see 119-109, MAYBE 118-110 but that’s it. This was literally one of the worst decisions I have seen in 50+ years of watching boxing

          Incomprehensible decision. Needs an investigation!

I didn't see the fight the way you did. I agree that, in the first four rounds, Conceicao was hitting nothing but air as Foster escape every blow and counter effciently. But since round 5, if Foster still had success while counter-punching Conceicao, Conceicao connected some of his punches. And since he was throwing far more than Foster, it does not shock me that Conceicao was declared the winner in the end.

Likely the biggest robbery I have seen in many years.

Even had Foster got the decision it was a boring fight and he should have done more

Shades of Sweet Pea-Chavez? Maybe worse?
