I predicted before the fight Wilder will get knocked out by Zhang in a spectacular fashion.

And you wonder why Haymon let him go to the Hearn side…..

AJ be like, ' let me at him' while his boys be holding him back with one finger on his chest.

As most people guessed Zhang was the clear guy to win early but Wilder was starting to come into the fight somewhat and just overshot the right hand and paid dearly for it.

It's a shame because I would've loved to see Wilder AJ.

Because I truly think AJ would be hesitant giving Wilder plenty of opportunities to time that perfect right hand making for compelling thrills and spills similar to Wlad vs AJ but we'll never get to see that now.

Deontay gave us some good highlight reel ko's. Congratulations to him on a good career! His skinny legs always made me cringe because I've always believed a good boxer is built on a solid foundation. He built a solid career on some great matchmaking and I won't hate on that. Zhang did great in applying pressure throughout the whole fight and, just as Wilder began to throw his right hand, BOOM!!! Great right hooks, the first being a glancing shot that stunned and spun Wilder around, and the second after the spin. FLUSH right hook to the face!!! I was surprised Wilder got up after that shot. Anyways... Great card thanks in large part to HE Turki Alalshik and the willingness of two promoters who were trying out a new concept. Run it back!!!

Hearn took a gamble. Brought him in, made him captain (like that stuff mattered) and hoped against all logic that he could knock out Zhang and set up an easy night's work for Joshua for huge money.

Gamble didn't pay off but it was worth a go.

No... the fight was there to be made but Hearn and Joshua wanted to age and shop wear Wilder even right up to the Parker fight.

Prime Wilder always had AJ's number he just wasn't prepared to sell himself short.

Joshua choosing his sparring partner and an MMA guy even recently says he's always quacked over facing Wilder.

Just like AJ is ducking Parker now and always has since jobbing him off his belt 6 years ago.

Easiest way to prove AJ has the heart of a champion and the balls of a warrior is to rematch Parker.

More than likely he'll pick over the carcass of Parkers victims and fight the tired old Chinaman.

You live by the gun, you die by the gun. His whole world was that right hand. Fury proved that when you take that right hand away, he really doesn't have any skills.

My quick, humble, and spiritual take on the night:
                      • AWESOME NIGHT!!!! This was a true fight fan card. Specifically, the matchups were all intriguing and relatively even and it was not about non-pugilism drama. There was blood, there was a display of excellence, and a bunch of 50/50 fights. This was amazing for boxing fans.
                      • Ford and Ball are legitimate tough guys. Tougher than the toughest guy you know. Ball spent the 12th like a man that knew he would spend the rest of his life thinking about that round. Ball is a must see for the next 7 years
                      • Sheeraz is someone I am afraid of for boxing. He is Wlad and we all know how much that take no chances, rule you with my physical attributes, and never show vulnerability thing ****** for boxing. I want someone to beat him.
                      • Bivol somehow turns into Spiderman combined with Freddy Krueger when he fights. He is far closer to Spiderman and fight fans don't really think that Spiderman is their hero. They appreciate him, but not their hero. He fought a horse-bull tonight that wanted to win super bad. Bivol's superhero delivery and execution was simply too good for the opponent. He is a machine for the record books.
                      • the crowd in Saudi sucks. They need to work on that with their evil world takeover. They just sit there. It detracts from the convivial intensity of viewing the sport live.
                      • Dubois vs Hergo - Neither of these guys cared if they got hit. Guys....Rocky was just a movie. Dubois is such an athletic specimen with so many physical attributes, yet he just does not seem to want to learn how to not get punched in the face. In round seven you could truly see why his game plan was the right one. It was hard work. Hard work beyond the scope of what most humans will ever ever see just paid off for him. What we all wondered about Hergo was what happened when he faced someone slick or a racehorse. We got one answer tonight. Did we get any more to settle the concerns about Dubois? He did eat a host of big shots early on.
                      • Wilder and Zhang: the questions about Wilder are if he is spent, if he can't box, and if his war and blood mentality will forever get in the way of greatness. The question he answered already is if he is tough. The questions about Zhang are his tank, his age, and if he is prone to stinkers like his last fight. He already has proven that he can **** and **** fast. Round 1 = two guys thinking the other guy has an AIDS needle in the glove. Wilder then continued to fight like a guy that doesn't have legendary power. Like a baby deer or a guy that was getting paid to look inept. That was no main event!!! Round 4 may have been the worst HW round ever. You could hear a fart in the first half of round 5 and then it was over. It was far from a great showing for Zhang in my opinion. He just did what he always does and he was on his way to another stinker.
                      • I did not see any violent intent coming from Wilder at any point. Did someone have his family hostage? Zhang didn't seem to be some kind of strategic wizard neutralizer. Crazy!
