On the other hand I don’t care how much a fighter rehydrates IF he makes the weight legally
But other than that it’s not much else we can do about fighters gaining weight

    bread u weight bully lol

i dont think i agree with this at all, i mean lets take 2 guys who are presently expected to pack on the pounds after the weighins, devin and benny

devin weighs at least 165 from 140 in the ring and canelo says benny only brings 25 pounds to the table, so if devin weighs 165 then he should be fighting guys around his own weight like u are supposed to do with weight classes but hes not doing that

i mean how simple should it be to restrict how much u can put on, its basically a tank davis or canelo clause on everyone all the time lol, boxing is the a side here forcing guys to fight around the same weight, if it works for a siders and they like it, as they do then surely it can work for everyone so i dont agree with bread here at all

I’m all for rehydration clauses if they are mandatory across the board. We have weight classes for a reason. It shouldn’t be a contest to see who can drain themselves down more efficiently. Twenty years ago there was outrage over Gatti putting on 17 pounds on fight night and sending Joey Gamache to the hospital. Nothing has changed.

I think it would be revealing to get fight night weights also before they step in the ring... Haney was 165 vs Prograis on fight night. I suspect he was similar vs Garcia, who was 160 on fight night in his last fight. And Haney was more than 20 lbs heavier than Loma on fight night.

i hate this endless speculating about fight night weights, this guy looked much bigger than this guy, wrong weight class etc, just give us this very important info and end all that crap, its not that hard to do, hbo did a great job with it, ok jim

Usyk would beat Jared Anderson comfortably, not that they will fight.

Usyk and Fury may call it a day after one more fight, against each other.

But if somebody gets brain damage because they were dehydrated, that could be a bad look. I don't think it's simple problem to fully fix otherwise it would have been fixed already.

ive heard that said but im not sure about it

i mean do guys claim i might get brain damage when a siders slap clauses on them?

its personal responsibility at the end of the day, having to take shots from bigger guys is a counter balance, thats more dangerous as well im sure
