Theoretically these groups aren't supposed to be corrupt, but clearly they are, so a guy being #1 is supposed to mean something.

I think a bigger problem is that there is no upside mando-wise once you become undisputed. I think a guy whos won all 4 major belts should have a higher status. So like you shouldn't have 4 guys in line as your potential next mando. At that point the mandos should have to fight to become the next mando. I wouldn't even mind a #1 belt ranked guy 4man tournament to be the next mando. But the main point is throwing more usually bs #1 guys at a undisputed guy is -ev for the sport.

A 4 man war over a year to add shop wear and tear to the winner who then faces an inactive Usyk who's a year older.

      Yeah, dunno eh ?

Screw the rematch. Usyk should be free to pick whomever to fight, whenever within 6 months and wherever. He's earnt the right.

The only way orgs should be able to mandate is if they're stumping up the cash and venue to fund stage and promote the fight.

This is why their trash belts are meaningless and why the desert turki is calling the shots.

Usyk odds of not getting his exception granted by the corrupt IBF is a million to one. What is Fin joke. It’s all about the money ******!

He turned his back in that Zhang fight. Should've been a TKO loss, then he got a scorecard gift anyway.

And that's his only notable opponent. Eric Molina, Amir Mansour, Kevin Johnson, and Rydell Booker? What did he do, just start punching people that got off a senior citizen tour bus in Atlantic City?

Regardless of what the IBF does here Usyk is #1 & thats all anyone should gaf about.
This. This all day. Usyk being undisputed is a fantastic thing, but WHO he beat to unify is more important. No one doubts he is the man at 200+ right now. If the IBF strips, good for them.

Also, I am willing to bet a fruit filled pastry Fury wants to avenge his loss way more than he is worried about those belts.

Makes more sense to me than what they do currently.

Personally idgaf about undisputed or belts in general, but boxers & most fans do & its fooking st#pid staying undisputed is as hard as becoming undisputed but not cuz of fighting opps but because of belt politics & bs.

If someone does manage to stay undisputed fans will eventually start accusing them of ducking the heat in other weights. Braekhus cleaned out women's 147 and made 25 unified defenses and 10 undisputed defenses and didn't lose until she was super washed and she still caught heat for not going to 154 or 160. I think she's like 17-2-1 against other WBA/IBF/WBC/WBO full world titlists.
