Only for Usyk to delay, delay, delay. Injury, mental health problems and then bans for coke and performance enhancing drugs.

That would be a terrible shame and Usyk's legacy would be tarnished.

I've never quite understood how Fury managed to come back as a champion of mental health advocacy rather than a bloke who uses drugs, runs from rematches, and ruined the end of a great champion's career. Then he did it again by running from Wilder at the tail end of his career too.

I don't think Usyk would have it in him to be such a scumbag. But it shouldn't be forgotten that Fury is such a scumbag.

The guy deserves nothing from anyone.
Yes agree with most of this. Fury doesn't deserve anything the way he has treated other boxers and the way he has scammed fans. But boxing is not fair sadly. People will support him just because he is such a big entertaining character and because he sells fights

I'm British and a lot of British people who did support him have given up on him in recent years. For many when he was running away from Usyk - that was the last straw. Fans wanted to see that fight. If you were a Fury fan - you wanted to see him become undisputed!

Fury's chin has been looking worse than AJ's in recent fights too.

I still say he has a good chance in the rematch. He showed he is a lot better than that Ngannou performance and he survived well after that 9th round. For a lot of fighters that would have become a stoppage in the 10th. Fury VS AJ would be a great fight now too

In a way I think many people (I do!) think better of Fury as a boxer after that loss. It's better to try and lose than not try at all - and it was a good fight too. No one cares about unbeaten records - apart from weird fanboys

Krasyuk says Usyk's word is a better guarantee than any contract. He said he would rematch Fury in October if he won, and that's what he intends to do.

After 9 years of ducking, lying and gaslighting of fans (and each other) by Wilder and Fury, it's great to see all the belts in boxing's premier division held by a champion worthy of the name.

He has not been really looking sharp and in great shape since Wilder 2.

His legs are gone, he abused too much his body and has been dropped way too much lately. I think Wilder and Fury both beat the mojo out of each others in their trilogy.
I agree, you can only take so much, especially as we get older. Its imperative that we take care of ourselves after our 20's. The body isn't the same. Seems like Fury lets himself go when he's not training, so that's going to play a role.

Well we all have that bucket list at my age. I'm just 60 but being able to cross out "watching a big baby with two butts and a diaper being slammed pillar to post in a boxing ring" it just meant a lot to me. Now on to the next one ... Eating a devil dog in the Mormon tabernacle

There used to be a company, it's still exist today but under different management not quite the same... Hostess. It made these baked goods that a lot of people grew up with. Devil dog is one of those things. It's a chocolate cake shaped like a finger with cream in the middle. A true staple to many urban youth in the day.

I think the site is using an AI program for the censorship. The lack of context being the clue. But apparently they cannot be bothered to figure out how to use it properly.

Apparently "Drake" bought the Devil Dog concept. I doubt they do as nice a job. Those things were really good lol.

In the preclassical boxing days it was popular for actors to mime a fight for a quick film. If one were to mime that round where Usyk caught Fury, You would need a giant bald man with a diaper on while his opponent struck him from post to post... I just cannot get that image out of my head every time I see that round...
