Agreed, the ref was paid off. One Judge was paid off. Should of been KO in 9rd or at least unanimous.

      USYK ATG

Good fight and you really can't argue with the decision. I had it six rounds apiece, with Usyk getting the nod for the 10-8 round. I predicted a Fury win but it is what it is. Hope there is a second one and possibly a third. Reminds me of the Ali/Frazier trilogy.

Cong**** to Usyk. Have watched him for years and am a fan. I thought Fury would stop him, Usyk proved me wrong. I will say that Friday I read the Fury article where talked about not really caring about it as much as others think, he was talking about hating the fame, etc. After I read it I immediately felt like Usyk was going to win, because I could tell from what Fury was saying....the guy is doing it to be doing something, that drive and will to be the best is not there for him anymore.

Fury still possesses the ability but I am going to give the nod to the guys who said Fury was done after Ngannou. I said Fury would come in and give Usyk hell, in great shape. He kind of did. But after watching it, Fury has lost not only that drive he had, but I think the constant weight loss and gain has taken a toll. He is a huge man and he is physically changing. The Wilder fights probably contributed heavily. What I saw against Usyk was a guy who could not do the same things as he used to, and he was there to try to win, but he wasn't brokenhearted when he didn't.

Usyk was in there to do whatever he had to do, would have died in the ring, and he took risks. Proved he was the better man and did not quit. I have to agree that he is P4P and one of, if not the best, of this era.

Fury IMO needs to probably retire soon, if not now. He may do the rematch, may not, but if he does it will be because he is bored and wants to collect the 100 mill. He will still beat lesser guys, but it looks to me as he is done as a dominant champ. Wilder seems to have been his last hurrah with greatness.

Congratulations Usyk, just as Holyfield did, great performance after a rocky first half of the fight.

Fury had Usyk hurt and didn't go after him in round six, and Usyk didn't go after Fury in the tenth to capitalise on the ninth.

All in all, a truly memorable heavyweight title fight. Not saying Usyk is the greatest heavyweight of this century, as I don't think so. But he's pretty great, beat AJ and Fury, and he's the real road warrior.

Fury was in good shape, but seemed to fade from the eighth round, and also, Usyk makes opponents tired in there, as they have to constantly think.

Come on, Dip, the ring announcer was keeping count to 10 with the rest of us. The bell did save them though lol.
This is a very generous reading, imo.

The ref could have called a knockdown as soon as Fury fell back the first time. Only the ropes kept him up.

Are you really saying he couldn’t have called “break!” and started the count? Nah, I think he was giving Fury the benefit of every doubt, which wasn’t unreasonable in the circumstances, but you can’t claim Fury was capable of defending himself. The only thing that kept him out of harm’s way was that he kept falling over himself.

the real issue I have was AFTER the count. Fury was out of it. And the ref gave him every extra second he could before calling the fighters back together. Even another ten seconds could have been enough for Usyk to land the closing shots.

A well-deserved victory. This has cement his legacy as the best pugilist of this generation. Fury, being younger, larger, and in peak condition for this fight, had the advantage of observing Usyk's previous bouts against AJ, Dubois, and Chisora. Despite this, he couldn't decipher Usyk's strategy, highlighting Usyk's brilliance.

You're just repeating what I said back to me... I already said Fury is a great fighter, so what are you even dis*****g? At least read what you're replying to...

The point you're missing is that Fury fanboys were hyping him up to be the GOAT heavyweight... That's what got exposed. He's nowhere close to GOAT. But he's still a great fighter. That's the point.
