I heard that IBF intends to strip usyk of this belt in a fortnight, making way for their 'mandatory' hrgovič. Versus dubois, no less!!!! And I think this is the utter shame of boxing: yet another backdoor 'champion'. The sweetest irony will be to see dubois crowned as IBF 'champion'. I, humbly, ask you, fellow boxing fans around the world, to start a petition to relegate the IBF to the 'mickey mouse' status. Just like the ibo. Utter shame...

Didn't professional boxing end standing 8 counts in 1998, I think refs love giving fury more time to recover, his recovery skills are impressive to be fair , but he should have a few ko loses for sure

Yes , there's no standing 8 count in professional boxing. It must be nice to get those few extra seconds. It's frustrating when a referee takes forever before restarting the action
We were talking about a fighter being saved by the bell. In Nevada and in New York they had different rules , in one of them a fighter could be saved by the bell in the other they couldn't, in one the doctor or ref could stop a fight , in the other it was just the ref, I forgot which was which. Do you remember ? It's the same now as far as I know they both use "The Unified Rules" . It never made sense to me why they were different.

It wasn’t a standing eight count though. Fury was only held up by the corner, and did actually collapse.

i thought fury fought great from rounds 3 to 6 and looked in control but usyk found another gear, im not sure fury wins the rematch he can't do much more and usyk will find it easier
I couldn't agree with your post more and I'm genuinely at a loss to explain a score or opinion that suggests a Fury win. I watched it again yesterday to see if I had missed something... I don't think I did. Fury also needs to sort his corner out too.

The point you're missing is that Fury fanboys were hyping him up to be the GOAT heavyweight... That's what got exposed. He's nowhere close to GOAT. But he's still a great fighter. That's the point.
you said exposed so stfu and sit down. casual. who cares what fanboys do.

It's easy to explain - delusional fanboys. Fury did well in the fight though. People need to be honest on both sides

Yea I couldn't it when I heard his corner telling him he's winning and to box smart. He needs to get rid of everyone but Sugar if they rematch

All you've exposed is that you're an illiterate who can't read... So shut up and go back to school, fangirl.
