Against Donaire too, he almost was stopped by an old Donaire.

Nery is vulnerable , his chin is not that great , he was dropped before his win against Yamanaka , but he has heart.

Inoue is a great great fighter but his resume is pretty weak.

And he ducked Román González when both were champs in 112-115.

So , is his fault too...

Go to 126 and fight better competition.

Chocolatito is the one that rejected Inoue's offer multiple times, then lost to SSR twice and went on semi-retirement.

You’d be the type of guy to say Crawford has a great resume.

I thought that I recall Roman's camp turned down the offer sent from Inoue, the plan was for them to fight if Roman won that fight and then he lost.

I usually have a complex when it comes down to what goes on with him. Not because I don’t think he’s talented, it’s obvious that he is. I just don’t know to what degree. I don’t think he’s facing the best of the best of the best, not because he’s avoiding them, but usually better fighters come in higher weight classes. Really good performance this morning

Now everybody knows Inoue is human. He got careless in that first round and got dropped hard, but he made every neccessary adjustment to make sure that left hand didn't land clean again. He absolutely dominated and brutalized Nery the rest of the way after that. Eventually, fighting bigger guys this was bound to happen despite his amazing skill, but he showed that even when hurt, he is still defensively sound and dangerous. Great fight.

Inoue's defence looked bad in this fight. He should not have gotten caught in the first round and I see lots of wild left hooks.

WAO, NAOYA INOUE ELECTRIFIES FANS AGAIN!!! He couldn't have been more thrilling!! Naoya Inoue (27-0, 24 KO's), came back from shockingly hitting the canvas in round 1 to out-speed, out-box and overpower in six chapters dangerous Mexican knockout artist 2-division champ Luis "Pantera" Nery tonight, May 6, at the famous Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan! THIS hugely entertain fans, it was AWESOME!

With his exciting TKO win, the 31-year-old "Monster" retains his UNDISPUTED Super Bantamweight Title, reaffirming himself as the # 1 P4P Boxer in the Planet!
