Loma is waiting for him since 2017. Fraud.

He had wins over Champs like:

        Victor Terrazas (37-2-1)
Cristian Mijares (49-7-2) who defeated Terrazas, a declined Rafael Marquez and a prime Jorge Arce.
Abner Mares X2 (29-1-1) (31-2-1) three division champ.
        Kiko Martinez (35-6)
Carl Frampton (23-0) a two division champ who beat Kiko Martinez X2, Scott Quig, Leo Santa Cruz and a ATG in Nonito Donaire.

Though it was obvious that he wouldn't be able to beat a knockout artist from 135 when he was pillowfisted even at the lower divisions.

While I agree that stating a fighter is a HOF shouldn't be said so easily since it will lose its meaning, I think a grinder like Santa Cruz had earned it after fighting the best available in four divisions. Also yeah, it's too bad that Rigondeaux didn't get the opportunities he deserved and instead had to fight Loma two divisions above.

I believe Tank is willing to compete at 140 depending on the weaknesses displayed in the opposition, he likes pressure fighters like Matias and will likely fight him if he notices any major deficiencies in his defense. Same with Haney and Lopez.

Stevenson is not a big draw by himself, I doubt Tank will pursuing him, like Floyd said, they are only taking in-house fights unless it's worth it. Loma is declining as he just turned 36 years old, if Tank doesn't hurry then people will question the legitimacy of his win if it actually happened. (Though Davis did avoid him for years during his prime)
That's a good recap of LSC's resume - I don't put too much stock when a young fighter meats an aged fighter like Terrazas and Mijares and Martinez - it's not only who you beat but when you beat them. The Mares wins and the rematch win over Frampton were his best. He woulddn't get my vote for HOF anyway assuming there were good alternative candidates.

Tan does have power butt his own chin hasn't really been tested - Matias has elite power at 140 and his chin is elite (so far) at 140 - so as I said and you agreed Tank's not taking that fight until Matias' chin has been cracked Joe Joyce-style.

His resume isn’t as bad as the people I mention say. i have no problem with fair criticism of his resume.

Calling himself the face of boxing is about his ticket and ppv sales. How he markets himself has nothing to do with his resume.

Any boxer’s resume should be based just on the people on it, not what they call themselves. Right?

          Come on SteveM.
If we only discuss resume then it's only the people on it. If we discuss why certain fighters attract 'hate' then what they call themselves comes into it. If you call yourself The Greatest you better have a resume to match or you're getting ridiculed. The Face of Boxing being based on ticked sales is fine for Tank fans but any serious fan of the sport wants the so-called Face of Boxing to be based on exploits in the ring in good match ups.

Agree with you about resume and hate.

Well that is how it used to be in boxing’s heydey. I still think that is the case like with Spence/Crawford.

Currently, Inoue moves units in Japan by consistently fighting the best top guys.

Canelo and Tank move tickets no matter who they fight. AJ as well.
