Garcia is off his rocker. Must live in a crazy space. If I were a promoter, I wouldn't go near him.

Well , who the heck is he going to fight then ? Rolly ? Garcia has more than enough money to live very comfortably already , he should just go ahead and retire. Boxing isn't good for him mentally. He kind of reminds me of Panchito Bojado.

No promoter is going to be able to "build" Garcia's career like Oscar is trying to do. Because Garcia is a big draw in his own and is looking for a partner, not a boss. Don't blame him. People can call Garcia names and act like he is being a princess, but that is because you all are stuck in the paradigm of boxing ten or fifteen years ago.

Boxing is dying and social media guys like Garcia are a big part of the future, like it or not.

Garcia's name has been linked to Haney, Romero, and now Ramirez. Can he just fight somebody without all the melodrama? If he wants to leave GBP, then fxcking do it already.

Ramirez is miles better than either of those two, and it wasn't cheap for Golden Boy to pick him up, I think he's guaranteed a $1m for his first fight with them.

Agree that the next fight that should have been made is probably Ryan-Rolly but the problem is Rolly has ducked his mandatory so it can't feasibly be for the WBA. Karma is coming round to bite him hopefully. Just make the fight without a belt.

Saw this coming miles away. Ryan already said which fight he wants. You'd think that Oscar would have the sense to TALK to his fighter BEFORE trying to make the fight with someone else, and then announce it on social media instead of talking to the guy who's gonna be in the ring? But no. Oscar only cares about himself and his coke. Ryan's a diva, but he's the guy in the ring and he made his wishes crystal clear before DLH came up with this fight. Pretty obvious he did so without consulting the fighter. No wonder Ryan wants a new promoter.

Lol the ultimate recipe for a dumpster fire.

                      You have:

                      Ryan Garcia:
                      - massive ego,
                      - not very bright,
                      - mental health issues,

                      promoted by:

                      Oscar De La Hoya:
                      - also a massive ego,
                      - bright, but really likes alcohol and *******,
                      - worse mental health issues than Garcia.

Once the relationship starts to spiral, man oh man look out….
