low level opposition? What? Jose is a bonafide ex word champion who only loss was a damn close decision to a prime / motivated Josh Taylor. Look at his list of wins last 5 years. His resume blows away Rolly, Pitbull, even Tanks resume. Gotta give Haney props- his resume is very good and going to get better. This is a perfect fight for Ryan to take to see what he’s really got, because Ramirez is legit a hell of a fighter and carries serious power.

I agree with you, Ramirez blows away rolly. But which fight would he bigger commercially, Ryan V Rolly or Ryan V Ramirez? That’s all I’m saying.

If i remember right, Ryan called out Haney on social media prior to DLH attempting to set up the fight. Idk why people on here saying otherwise or that DLH attempted to set up a fight without Ryan's consent. Just not true. Ryan fan boys over Mayweather and Davis. Mayweather got a hold of Ryan and changed his mind to fight Rolly because it's one of Mayweathers fighters. It's a mix of Mayweather stealing a fight from the Haney's (greed) and messing with DLH (revenge). Ryan is just a pawn in this. Mayweather is Ryan's P Diddy. It's sad. Ryan either needs to start promoting his own fights or leave Golden Boy. Probably the latter because I don't think he's stable upstairs enough to do the business side of boxing.

                First off.
People on here gotta keep in mind that as soon as his contract's finished.
                Garcia's leaving GBP.

                We know it.
                GBP knows it.
                Everyone knows it.

                IMO...
Oscar signed Barboza and Ramirez in hopes that he they could beat Ryan before he leaves.
Which would gain them some notoriety.

Oscars trying to get the most outta Garcia before he leaves.

Which is why he was willing to make the Haney fight.

Floyd probably told Garcia to fight Rolly so he can have a belt when his contract expires.
That way he can have more leverage when negotiating with PBC...
Sorry I mean whichever promoter he chooses to sign with.

Ok this sht starting to look like bad pos 'telenovela' ...just embarrassing.

I mean it was obvious af cryan wouldn't dare to sign fight against Ramirez ,thats a guaranteed L right there and even he knows it. Rolly just the 'easier' path to win a belt and thats just on paper. Wouldn't be surprised if Romero actually beats cryan lol. Kid def needs another can of whoopass. I think I'll be rooting for Rolly for the first time lmao.
