Here's a guy whose wife's box was pounded by AJ until her lips looked like pastrami, and Khan's reply was, "AJ can have my leftovers", then he got back with her after that. Yea I guess he's legendary alright, but for the wrong reasons. Last time I checked, no one ever did Boots like that in a boxing ring.
Lol yeah I get that but the main point is they all have done way more than boots , we cant really say Ennis is that proven at this point cant we.

Ah the good ol 'he's being ducked' card lol , it can't stay that way for too long dude, Boots would have to take on the top ww's eventually and we'll see where his level truly stands but for now he is relatively unproven, boy would get squashed by Bud right now imo. As easy as he did ESJ probably. Just my honest opinion.

Why doesn’t anybody mention the two times Boots refused offers to fight Bud ?
Why take another route when he was so close to being Bud’s mando ?
Oh , i get it , it doesn’t fit the agenda for the new found ex Spence fans turned Boots fans now

When is the last time u seen a guy who can pump jabs in ur face that u can't block or get away from and slip and counter all your shots at the same time, from both orthodox and southpaw stances? Someone who knocks ppl out with every punch in the book? Someone who dominates everyone put in front of him and doesn't even lose rounds in the process. A guy who can fight 12 fast paced rounds and stand up in the corner between rounds and barely breathing hard at the end? When u say Boots isn't proven, thats disrespectful to all the pros who trained hard and got in there and tried to do something with him. U act like they aren't professional fighters. U say they ain't nobody but any one of them could turn a regular street dude into a vegetable. Boots makes them look like nobodies but they are tough pros, not the bums everyone likes to call them. Custio Clayton was just one example. An unbeaten Olympian with like 20 pro fights under his belt. U don't go to the Olympics if u can't fight. Boots smoked him in one round. Van Heerden very experienced pro, Lipinets hard nosed.experienced pro, Dulorme experienced pro. I believe he challenged for a title once. These dudes all got smoked by Boots easily. And its the way he does it. Its different everytime. Different shots, different combinations. The right shots at the right time. He knows exactly what he's doing in the ring. He's facing everyone put in front of him and smoking them in devastating and creative fashion. And he's calling out all the top guys by name, and has done so for a couple years now. That proves he's completely confident in his skills. That proves he has heart. No one with a name accepts his challenge or says they want to fight him. That proves that boxers see something in Boots that the critics of Boots' resume don't see. Boots is very proven at this point. 29-0 with 27 ko's? His record proves that ur chances of taking a nap if u face him, is very high indeed

Spence might as well retire because his body is slowly beginning to break down due to his very fast, unhealthy and unclean lifestyle, He is basically a shell of his former self now.

All these post match excuses aside, the moment when Bud destroyed Spence the first time was certainly worth all the shine for 2023. However if Spence win ends up being considered his greatest win in his career, it certainly will be rather lackluster in the big picture for his HoF career.

I am not saying Bud is ducking Boots. Bud chose to fight Avanesyan and Kavaliauskas when Boots was the highest ranked contender.
You are right about one thing - Boots is 26 years old and there is literally no one else for Bud to fight at WW except Boots. The Spence rematch appears to be dead on arrival and Charlo is not about to fight Bud after getting beat up by Canelo. So Bud will either fight Boots or retire.

Just to make it clear, I don’t care if Bud beats Boots or vice versa. Just fight the guy and keep boxing alive

Fair enough. Boots just entering his prime years so im sure we still yet to see his best version at 147 maybe even 154 no doubt about that, thing is 38 yo Bud claimed is no longer that easy for him to make the ww limit plus he seems to be more interested moving up to conquer a new division ,right now realistically speaking his best option is to fight Tim for sww belt or one last scrap at ww against Ennis. Personally I prefer TC to test the waters at new weightclass.
