Zhang is such a robot he makes Joshua look fluid, and Joshua has been criticized (correctly) as robotic since he was in his prime.

I just don't see it with Zhang. I think Joshua is very beatable but I just don't think Zhang, Joyce, DuBois, Anderson, Hrgovic, Sanchez, etc are any damn good. Torrez is the hope of the future as far as I'm concerned.

Zhang, Anderson, Hrgovic and Sanchez all beat AJ in my opinion. Torrez? The 8-0 kid whose 8 wins have come to guys with a combined 27 losses? I’m sure he was supposed to win those 8 fights. I haven’t seen him so I can’t give my opinion but I saw his record and opponents he beat. That’s it in a nutshell.

Notice I said Torrez is the future, not the present. He hasn't proven anything yet. But all those other guys have already proven to me that they don't have it.

I like Zhang and his wins over Joyce were the most impressive wins of any HW this year, but hes entering the realm of being overrated at this point.

I like Zhang, and not because I'm predominantly chinese, but because he's a really exciting, powerful puncher.

There wasn't much hype around him, but I'd say if he fought a prospect like J.Anderson, he'd probably beat him.

Joshua and him would he a good fight, but very high risk for AJ and his team.

I remember when a very young AJ fought a prime, experienced, 29 year old Zhang in the Olympics, handled Zhang quite easily and dropped him pretty heavily, in headgear. AJ traded with Zhang and beat him to the punch every time.

It's a sign of how down BAD AJ is right now that he's getting dunked on by a 40 year old Zhang when AJ is supposed to be in his prime.

Sort your head out AJ, it doesn't matter that you lost to Usyk and had a howler against Ruiz, you can't win them all but a guy like Zhang shouldn't be a problem for you.

It was far from being a heavy knockdown... Zhang was off balance when he got hit, watch it again. Against Jerry Forest Zhang was experiencing severe dehydration and going through the beginnings of organ failure mid fight FFS!

I don't understand how people are saying Zhang is overrated based on the Joyce fights. Are people forgetting what Zhang did to Hrgovic; hurting him multiple times AND dropping him? Zhang should've got the nod in that fight and Hrgovic is a top contender.

I think AJ vs Zhang would end in the same way as the Joyce rematch - Zhang would steadily break AJ down with the southpaw backhand before switching his lights off with a monster right hook from outside the line of vision.

Ruiz got a gift against a version of Luis Ortiz so old he could barely stand up. He's done as a top 10 level guy, he cashed out in the second Joshua fight and he doesn't care anymore. He got dropped by the ghost of Chris Arreola.

Still won both fights. Just like Zhang lost to Hrg, sh.it happens
