Refresh my memory. When did Mayweather turn down an opportunity to fight Cotto? You obviously have only been following boxing for the last two years. Otherwise you would know that Mayweather was calling Cotto out at 140 (four fights before he fought De La Hoya) and Arum wouldn't make the fight.

As far as Margarito is concerned Floyd "ducked" him so he could fight the RING ****zine champion at 147, which was Carlos Baldomir. At that time Margarito was considered number 3 at welterweight. Who, in his right mind (except for you), would choose to fight the number 3 guy in the division instead of Number 1?
