Jones moved up 1 year before Calzaghe won. None of these guys, Hopkins included, were even in Joe's weight class, that's why all the arguing about "why didn't Joe face a prime Hopkins/Toney/Jones" are ****ing pointless. He had no obligation to fight any of them. That didn't stop him calling out Hopkins all the time though, he said it was his dream fight. That was in 2002 or something.

Toney moved up to light heavyweight 3 years before Calzaghe won the WBO belt at 168. In the year Joe won it, 1997, Toney was up to 190 pounds.
