Roy Jones, Mikkel Kessler, Chris Eubank.

Toney moved up to light heavyweight 3 years before Calzaghe won the WBO belt at 168. In the year Joe won it, 1997, Toney was up to 190 pounds. Two years later, 200 pounds.

Jones moved up 1 year before Calzaghe won. None of these guys, Hopkins included, were even in Joe's weight class, that's why all the arguing about "why didn't Joe face a prime Hopkins/Toney/Jones" are ****ing pointless. He had no obligation to fight any of them. That didn't stop him calling out Hopkins all the time though, he said it was his dream fight. That was in 2002 or something.

I didn't think he dominated Ike at all. In fact, I thought he looked bad. Plus, none of those fights occured at 170.

i know that, i was just answering chunks question, he asked at what weight were jones and toney at 1997, i answered, some other chump replied saying they were at supermiddleweight, i re-replied saying im pretty sure they were at heavyweight esspecially jones as his first fight at lightheavy was at 1996 with mike mccallum whilst his second was in 1997 with montell griffin, james i was just guessin but he also fought griffin at lightheavy and it was'nt long after that fight that griffin picked a fight with roy

Sorry dude, that post wasn't necessarily directed at you. I wanted to set the record straight in regards to who was at what weight back then.

You should try reading before getting all defensive. Your last paragraph came out of left field - although I suppose it fits in a Calzaghe thread somewhere.
