    Speaking of fighters stepping up

Is the guy in my avatar going to ever get a move on?

He could and should be fighting again this year without question and against a decent opponent.

Boxing just depresses the **** out of me these days. All these prospects fighting twice a year at most and vs just God knows what.

I'm sorry I swear I spend 99% of my time here moaning but its like do we have some decent boxing this weekend? Oh yes, we have KSI vs Tommy Malignaggi and ***** Danis vs Logan Paul. How intriguing can Paul finally get his first win after like 5+ years of training?

Then you look at the UFC and you have Costa pulling out with an injury, that sucks but no worries he is only replaced by Kamaru Usman, Charles pulls out also and is replaced with the p4p #1 in the sport, wow card saved, maybe even better than the damn original card. Well done the UFC can only applaud it.

This sports is like being trapped in an abusive relationship.

      Lol that tickled me.

Tank is the perfect example though of the modern day fighter. Fights once, twice a year if lucky against absolute garbage and anyone who is semi decent or deemed any sort of risk has to be severely handicapped. And then we (the fans) sit and act like he is elite and its supposedly impressive rather than facing the fact that we're being taken for a right bunch of cvnts.

I wish he just stayed active to keep his name buzzing. Because his hype definitely died down from a while ago.

We do have decent boxing this weekend: two title fights (Janibek/Gualtieri and Tszyu/Mendoza) and a title eliminator (Ayala/Alvarado). I've stopped obsessing about the fights that aren't happening and fighters that aren't fighting, and have decided to focus on those who are active. Ennis' inactivity is his own problem.

Jaron Ennis is the next one who needs to step up instead of wasting his career.

Booty ennis is never stepping up. Welterweight is a wasteland right now. Ugas retiring and Barrios being a fvkcing top guy there is laughable.

Booty will win a vacant belt and run his mouth claiming crawford ducked him while the spencerina bandwagon cling to his every word.

He won't, he'd rather waste his career typing cryptic boll0cks on social media

As a Boots fan I genuinely agree with this.
Exactly how it will go down.

I thought Boots was that guy and fighting an elite, top p4p fighter in Crawford meant more at least it should but he's just happy to wait it out and fight for a vacant strap. Its very disappointing.

With Crawford, Spence, Ugas, Ortiz and I suppose you could include Stanionis through no fault of his own all out of the picture the WW division looks dire.

I just can't get excited about Boots winning vacant titles vs the likes of Cody Crowley or even Thurman if I am honest who was won just one fight in over 4 years and won't have fought for a minimum of 18 months. I'm sorry, I know some fans will sit and pretend they're solid or good fights even but I can't even do that. He's just going backwards.
