True. You are right on that one. Hopefully in his training camp he works on defense, ring movement and tricks needed to beat Canelo.

I have major concerns about Charlo's tendency to bring his right hand back low and to fall way off balance when he misses with it. The first leaves him open to hooks. Absolutely ripe for a jab feint-hook, or to get broken down to the body and then take a hook to the head. The second will add power to a counter shot.

Camelot hasn't been using his head movement nearly as much in recent fights, but he's still a ferocious counterpuncher. Charlo's flaws are basically tailormade for Canelo. The style that historically has done best against Canelo are the guys who can outbox him from the outside and keep him honest. Charlo will get his chin tested for sure in this fight.

I see Charlo, a little afraid to reinjure his hand, being tentative on offence. So how is he going to win with Canelo doing all the punching? Stoppage somewhere around 9 or 10.

Jarrett Hurd is a damn bum! He's bitter that his career tanked, so he's doing what bitter buns do by trying to heap salt on Jermell. No one's getting stopped in this fight. They both have high grade chins. Canelo is not as sharp as he used to be, but I expect him to reach back to 2016 and conjure up just enough old magic to edge Charlo in a very close fight.

This fight is like having a Canelo move up to heavyweight and challenging the top guy there. Ridiculous, I’m not buying this junk. What’s on UFC that weekend?

Charlo is just not ready for the two weight jump like that, but if he fights a smart fight, who knows

154 and he actually beats Canelo, but to go up two weight classes, not a smart move, definitely in it for the payday

Cool not to buy it. But don’t bail out and go look for UFC! Be a true boxing fan thru and thru!
