You've broadly put "Champions" but "Champions" aren't always, and in fact rarely are the equivalent to one another . For example Fighter A could fight 3 "Champions" that are in their prime and ATG caliber and Fighter B could fight 8 champions but are C level fighters or have won a vacant strap or something of that nature meaning the 3 for one outweigh the eightr for the other.

For Example Adrien Broner is a 4 weight World Champion, Marvin Hagler is a one weight world champion. 4 is more than 1 therefore Broner has a better resume than Hagler. It's a disingeous way to judge it.

Resume's are who they beat and when.

Let's break down who Inoue beat, and why that makes his resume so much better than Spence's.

    We've done Spence's; Brook, Porter, Ugas, D.Garcia, Peterson, M.Garcia.

Break down Inoue's and we can compare the two.
I didn't I wrote it many times by it you keep making me write the same thing. It's different what Inoue did and broner. I keep pointing out Inoue is about to clean out two division not cherry pick titles like broner. If you really want something in depth here we go.

Yes I do give extra credit for climbing weight division to challenge one self.

Spence best win IMO is Porter. Career WW and I actually thought he lost that fight btw but he officially got the W so whatever.

Brook=Good win. Career WW but fought right after he got his face broken by someone two weights higher.(I don't hold it against Spence).

Uga=Unification fight. Best win at WW old Manny? Good win.

D Garcia=Decent win. Dont have a legit WW win against someone good.

Peterson=no legit win at WW. Decent win

M Garcia= Didnt even campaign at JWW. Not a good win.

    Inoue

Fulton=Great win. Considered to be the man at 122 still in undefeated prime. Was near the p4p list for a lot of people.

1st donaire fight= good win a bit past prime. Probably got lucky he got to the finals.

E Rodriguez=good win. Undefeated prime champion. Campaigned at bantamweight.

    O Navarez=Good win past prime.

    Moloney=decent win. Career bantamweight fighter.

Adrian Hernandez= decent win. Don't really know anything about this dude but he wasnt a paper champ and defended his title a couple of times. .

I'm guessing you don't give any credit for people going up in weight and challenging themselves? That's why Inoue wins are more impressive IMO it's because he's always the smaller man and making it look easy

Spence's resume is weak as hell.

Inoue has faced more champions, top 3 ring mag rated fighters than any champion fighting today.
While he's moved up and dominated.

Spence fighting in the same wgt class his entire career, and his best win is porter by split decision.

      it's a laughable comparison.

He has fought 12 fighters who have been world champions in their career (counting Donaire twice) and an additional IBO champ who I’m not counting. His champ opponents have I believe 56 defenses between them.

Ryoichi Taguchi (unified light flyweight world champ) WBA, IBF, Ring. Inoue gave him his second loss, and Taguchi still went up to win and defend world titles after, going 9-2-1 after fighting Inoue. One defense.

Adrian Hernandez two time light flyweight world champ. 4 defenses in his second title reign before being stopped by Inoue.

Omar Narvaez: two division world champion. 27 defenses across those reigns. He was on the 2023 HOF ballot.

Kohei Kono: 2 time world champion, 3 defenses.

Jamie McDonnell: IBF bantamweight, WBA regular bantamweight champion with 6 defenses.

Juan Carlos Payano: WBA and IBO champion, one defense.

Emmanuel Rodriguez: IBF champion, one defense, with wins over 2 other champs on this list.

Donaire (twice). Shouldn’t need to go into Donaire’s bonafides, but he reached #3 P4P by Ring, FOY 2012, 4 division world champion, has held 9 world titles, and titles in 3 consecutive decades, along with only Holyfield, Pacman, BHop, Morales, and Floyd. 10 defenses across his many reigns. He's got a chance in a matter of hours to improve his already HOF career.

Jason Moloney: Current WBO bantamweight champ.

Paul Butler. WBO champ, but no defenses. Email champ.

Stephen Fulton: was unified WBC/WBO superbantam champ, 2 defenses, both against world champions.

Many of his non champ defenses have come against guys with achievements like gold medals in major amateur competitions, Rajadamnern champion (which you'd recognize if you are into Muay Thai), or who themselves have wins over fighters who were themselves world champions.

A little more detail so you can debate.

        So we've got;

        Taguchi
        Hernandez
        Navarez
        Kono
        Payano
        Rodriguez
        Donaire x2
        Malony
        Butler
        Fulton

So just off the jump, Danny Garcia is being dismissed for Spence, but you cannot tell me that Kono, Hernadez, Butler, McDonnel, Maloney are better wins than Danny Garcia or better fighters than Danny Garcia. You just can't.

Inoue's best wins are Fulton, Donaire and Navarez. I would say that that's comparable to Spence's wins over Brook, Porter and Ugas.

I'd say the next level down would be Taguchi, Rodriguez, Payano which I'd say compares to Spence's win over Peterson. Mikey Garcia is a better fighter than them but of course was moving up multiple weights.

So overall yes looking more into depth Inoue does have the edge, certainly in depth across a short time. But again, it's not drastically better in terms of quality. But yes Inoue does have the edge.

If you then add Crawford to Spence's resume, that would change a lot as that would be the best win on either resume by a giant margin.

Donaire has a shot here of adding to Inoue's resume. Bud would be a big win to be sure.

For me, the manner that Inoue won speaks a lot though. Very interesting week for boxing.

Any way you call it, they're all great fighters and I'm glad we get to watch the fights this week.

This is my problem with people ranking people in different weight classes.

Why is Danny Garcia a good win? He havent done anything at WW to consider it a good win.

It's not even fair to say Danny a better win cause his division have better boxers then bantamweight. How is it possible to judge that?

Winner would be #1 p4p. Two top 5 p4p fighters for undisputed. How many guys have Inoue fought who was in the top 5 p4p when he fought them?
