Even 800k PPV would be huge success for them. I expect around 750k.

It seems like a lot of you have high expectations for successful, historically speaking any figure around 300k would be a fairly successful ppv.

With the purses both guys are probably on in terms of a guarantee, I suspect anything from 500k buys will be a relative success and anything in the region of 700k+ will probably also yield a profit for everyone involved.

It’s also on the same night as a huge UFC PPV card so that will take a lot of the media attention too and casual market might sway towards the ufc card.

Crawford Spence is mainly for the hardcore fans, they’ve done a bad job of marketing themselves over the years.

PBC is marketing this fight heavily in the same areas it always does. Urban radio being one example.

Many of my casual fan friends have talked about it and ask if I am having a fight party.

I think PBC needs to expand its marketing and promotion of this fight to reach other groups, especially those that only know about PBC through Tank fighting Ryan Garcia.

It's not. As a woman, I have a different perspective than just being a boxing fan. None of my friends or their boyfriends know about this fight. They knew about Ryan and Tank. Sad but the truth is neither of them are big stars. The most known thing about these 2 is the car crash Errol Spence was in

It probably won't sell. I'm not even a casual and I'm not excited. They're just 2 boring personalities. Tc always looks lost and Errol smiling like he has down syndrome. They're just boring people.

It is increasingly rare to see a fight get anywhere near 1 million PPVs today. The stars just aren't there, and people are unwilling to pay $70-$85 for a fight with garbage undercards. Piracy also lends itself to lower numbers. PBC hasn't built any stars on their own and Crawford and Spence aren't exactly charismatic, they are hard to sell on talent alone. There's also no villain or good guy on this card, it's two good guys--with Spence having the tribal fanbase built into PBC.

I guess I need more friends that listen to urban radio. I'm having a difficult time finding enough friends who care about or have even heard about the fight.
