He was clearly fearful of Joshua or maybe even fearful of being on the big stage. That being said Martin wasn't that good in his prime. But if you want to bash Anderson for his performance against Martin then bash Tyson Fury for his performance against Otto Wallin. Hell you should also bash Tyson Fury for being dropped and out boxed by the 180 pound light punching cruiser weight Steve Cunnigham.Damn Wicked likes this.

I was just laughing at the cognitive dissonance some guys experience when a boxing match doesn't go the way they expected it to.Last edited by kafkod; 07-02-2023, 02:46 PM.

A lot of guys got hit by Joshua and went down. But that can't be because Joshua hits hard. No, no, that's impossible, there must be some other explanation ... [/QUOJo
If you want to use your backward logic then Corrie Sander hits way harder than Anthony Joshua. Sanders destroyed a prime 27 year old Wlad while Joshua took 11 rounds to knock out a faded Wlad while being knocked down himself. What is your excuse for that? Clearly Martin just went down because he was afraid of Joshua.
