The division ain't all that he'll easily get a belt back at 140 if he wanted. You literally got Rolly gifted a belt and stoppage win for throwing shots that were missing

Taking nothing away from Lopez' accomplishments, it would have been great to see him actually chase and achieve true undisputed status. Although it wouldn't have been easy, I think he could have pulled it off with the right matchups and maturity, at either 135 or 140.
The record books will prove you right, but Hardcore fans will remember Teo as a 2x undisputed champ.

How? Tank Vs Ryan showed titles are irrelevant to becoming a star.

great news! if you are going to be inactive then it's better to vacate promptly and not hold out a division. just make barboza - ramirez and haney the next mandatory.

In fact, he can sit out and let other fighters do all the work of collecting the titles again and then come back and try to take them out and get undisputed in fewer fights.

Who gives a s**t about sanctioning body politics? Lopez beat the top man at light weight, and the top man at junior welterweight. About that there is no dispute.

There's some dispute about Taylor being the top guy at 140, but that's no fault of Teo.
