Just the commentators comments about how Bumachenko went to Ukraine for a year to fight tells you everything you need to know, the guy went for a few weeks didn't fire a single bullet nor was a bullet fired at him...once the fighting started he made sure his ass was out of there fast..much easier being a "hero" in the United States behind the tv screen,

One of the weakest counter-arguments to bad judging decisions is to talk about how a boxer's face looks. You do not win or lose a fight according to how easily or not your face gets marked up.

Your comment that "he can not lose no matter what happens" is about as self-evidently incorrect a statement as I can imagine.

And this is controversial because Top Rank people were acting like they knew who won before the fight.

How do you explain why, when they asked Muratalla who he wanted next, and he said he wanted the winner of the main event, they said "you mean Devin Haney.". That was before even the Valdez fight, let alone the actual main event had even happened. You don't smell a fix there??

Then they bring in Shakur post fight to do damage control, because he's been saying the whole time that Haney would win easy, and he can usually be counted on to crow about being right. And so they ask him "what did Haney do well?" And he responded with "Loma won that fight."

It was a close fight, and I wouldn't be as concerned if I hadn't watched them overlook Loma the whole fight week, and run several "what's next for Haney after he beats Loma" narratives, and then slip up during the Muratalla interview. I don't care about race. Frankly, I thought Haney did really well. But that's very sketchy. No way did Haney win every swing round, and solely on ineffective body punches.
I agree. I'm a Lomachenko fan, and was annoyed by all of the pre fight talk about how Haney is the bigger, stronger, younger fighter all things that are true and I agree with BTW, but I definitely never agreed that Haney is levels above Loma like he claimed, and I also thought that he still had enough left in him despite his age and perceived decline to make it a close fight and maybe even do enough to win. But, yeah I did notice that a lot of people seemed to think that it was a foregone conclusion that Devin would 'win', and I did see that interview with Bernardo Osuna, and at the moment gave him the benefit of the doubt, mostly because of my admitted bias, being a Lomachenko fan. But, yeah it was a close fight and though I thought that Loma did enough to win, I don't fault anyone from scoring it 115-113 for Haney, but it definitely seems shady with Dave Moretti's dumb ass, to Bernardo's interview.

Every fan wants to be a judge. The fight was close without dispute. In a close fight for Cameron it’s cheered with appreciation, in a close fight for Haney its jeered with derision. They were close fights! Either one could have swayed on the judging of one round. Give credit where credit is due for both parties!

If a fan says it could have been a draw or 7-5 my fighters way, then that shows that one they know it was a close fight and two they have an implicit bias. Say your score based on your rounds. This was a close fight and being that I’m not a judge I had no clue which way it would go. Cameron Taylor was closer and I see NONE OF THIS DISCOURSE. That’s why people think it’s a race thing because that fight was closer and people go along with the decision, this fight was judged more widely, yet everyone wants to scream robbery
