If not then as you so accurately stated; The handguns and weapons must be unloaded and locked in a case during transport or while they are driving.
You really think Wilder is a California resident?

in 2012 the California legislature approved. Penal Code 26350 is the California statute that prohibits a person from openly carrying an exposed and unloaded handgun in a public place or in a vehicle. A violation is charged as a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in county jail.
Damn, when did they sneak that one by?

I’m not surprised. Wilder loves dope and often acts like a dope. His paranoia is a sign of skunk weed usage

Wilder is lucky they didn't try to pop him for being under the influence. They popped him for the gun because they had to. I'm just glad he was cheerful and cooperative. A brother of his size needs to be friendly with the cops and not present himself as a threat.
The situation just has to make sense. I've only had three run-ins with police.

In CA when I was in my 20's, two situations with crazy girls. On both, the cop sided with me because they could easily see the girl was full of it.

In Washington State, I was parked late night at a 7-Eleven, go in to get some food. Cop comes in a few seconds after me...I'm a little su****ious because I never saw him drive up. I check out, head to the car and notice the interceptor next to mine (and my car was tinted, by the way). All of sudden I hear, "excuse me" - I froze, and I was like, aw damn...this is it for me. Turned around, cop's like, "that's a really nice car, can I check out the interior? We're about to get those to replace our squad cars". Cool as a fan. But boy, at first, I was terrified...

The ONLY negative interaction I've ever had with a cop was that one old mother father that gave me a rolling stop ticket, wrote the WRONG street on the ticket, and the judge didn't throw it out like they should have. Other than that, never a problem.

Cali cops are something else. Ive lived here all 53 years of my life. had a cop stop in front of my house once while i was (had been) smoking weed and strumming a guitar. he rolls his window down and yells out "hey, can you play 'far and away'??" then he starts laughing out loud, and rolls off...
once my body was finished with the paranoia, i thought, "disregard the constable!"

Damn, that snake in the grass Mark Breland planted weed in Deontay’s car.

And Tyson Fury planted the 9mm with his gypsy trickery.

Well, My run in with the cops was interesting. I was in the Norcal Bay area, going home from a swing shift. I was in my '69 Ford F100 step side pick up, about to get on highway 101 to go home. I get the lights. Up walks this gorgeous blonde female cop. I'm thinking, "Damn, she's fine! She says I was speeding, like 43 in a 35. I'm like, "Really, speeding in this old truck?" She says yes and asks for my license and registration. Well, in that old truck, the release for the seat belt was on the left side, instead of the right. As I reached for the release, this chick takes a half step back, put her hand on her side arm and yells, "Whoa, what are you reaching for!?" I told her my seat belt released from the left and please don't shoot! That fine bitch wrote me a ticket and made me damn near shit my pants. True story.

Good to stay in training camp.

No 1:15 am drives -- safely tucked in bed by 9 pm.
