Agree with you 100% in that there is no argument for an immediate rematch. It's more of something that can happen somewhere down the line. If Ryan returns to winning, gaining a title, etc..I would love to see a rematch where there would be no extraordinary stipulations.

All for it maybe in a year after Ryan bounce back strong with a couple of impressive performances
but for now Tank needs to fight winner of Haney vs Loma while Ryan should look to work his way to a Title Shot at 140! Stay TF away from Matias that won't end well for him but winner of Taylor vs Lopez, winner of Puello vs Rolly or Regis Prograis...plenty of options at 140 but again it doesn't get any easier at 140

Going into the fight, I warned that most of the general boxing public will only pay attention to the result, and not all of the little things that effect the outcome of the fight. I had a feeling that this rehydration stipulation would be an issue.....and it was.
Garcia's team will hopefully learn from this mistake. Other boxers should take note as well.
This could be a reason why Spence VS Crawford have yet to be made. These boxers are wise enough to make sure they are comfortable with all of the little stipulations that the general boxing public might overlook.

Boxing has never been with rehydration clauses and all this other bs..
the great thing is Ryan performed extremely well at the box office and now he clearly will not have to partake in any shenanigans going forward.
Rematch at 140 with no rehydration or go screw yourself selling 200k chump..
and shame on showtime for their biased announcing and slanted coverage in general.. largely ignoring the rehydration clause and the clear difference in Ryan’s appearance.. Ryan was clearly too cut up and skinny.. absolutely disgusting..
It used to be I want to beat this guy at his best.. now its pions championing a guy that’s looking to beat severely handicapped opponents because he’s threatened by their talent.
