I think at 140 maybe the same result, but at least the win is not questionable. Catchweight might be okay but the rehydration clause is not cool.

Im actually a fan of rehydration clauses. Its the closest thing we have to same day weigh ins.

i support them all the time regardless of whose fighting. Weight is the standardized variable, best get that standard as close to fight time as possible.

the rules are pretty specific. A knockdown is scored 10-8 unless another one is scored (or an equivalent 10-8 from the opponent occurs)

You must be brand new to this sport. Contrary to the opinions of many informed people, a knock down confers one point, not two, to the fighter who scored it, so one KD does not automatically mean a 10-8 round. The other guy explained the rule correctly to you. If fighter A is clearly winning the round, but gets dropped at the end of it that round will be scored a 9-9. The 10 point must system prescribes that the winner of a round gets 10 points minus one point for suffering a KD.

Yes he is! He scored Golovkin's most dominant round (round 7) in the first Canelo fight to Canelo - even Adelaide Byrd awarded that round to GGG! If that round was given correctly to GGG by Moretti Golovkin defeats Alvarez by split decision...

I don't think the fight lived up to the hype, I don't think Garcia performed anywhere near as well as he hyped himself. Don't get me wrong, this was a fantastic fight to get signed, sealed and delivered but I was hoping for a bit more of a competitive fight.

Ryan has a way of throwing punches where it seems like he doesn't make a proper commitment to actually land the punches, but merely to sort of range find and potentially, luckily, actually land a flush punch. Khan was similar: blazing fast comobs but thrown in a way where it's as though he had his eyes closed. Terrible accuracy and going by the majority of feedback, a pretty lame stoppage too.

Tank fought well but he didn't really have to, Ryan presented the opportunity to kick his ass to Tank and he just took it. What the hell was all the random aggression in round 2 all about? I'm not here to stick the boot in after a loss; the criticism is warranted. His performance was immature and it's disappointing because it looks lie he could have done better.

G**** to Tank, he looks pretty damn good and potential fights between him/Shakur/winner of Haney/Loma are really interesting and pretty much the pinnacle of the sport, let's get them made!!!

I was surprised with Tank's speed, confidence and focus. That punch in the 2nd round, was beautiful. Tank was just having fun after round 2.

As for Ryan, If he became the family business, this will not be fun. I don't wish this on him or anybody but, it can sometimes be like seeing people's true colors when there is a death in the family. I hope everyone was smart handling the business side to protect everyone's mental health.

I told my wife that Ryan and Rolly Romero would be a more interesting fight; they have very similar styles. "Tank KO Rolly in the 6th; I'll give Ryan one more round." I didn't bet on it, because I rewatched Ryan's bout with Luke Campbell last night, and gave his left hook a chance to beat Tank.

Unfortunately, Ryan's left hook is not world class. If it was, he wouldn't have been over-shooting on Tank. He had no idea how to measure Tank correctly, and it caused him to be knocked down in the 2nd.

Everything aside, great event for the sport of boxing. Now, we need Loma to beat Haney so we can get Loma vs Davis, and Davis can look like a fool.

Loma will reclaim his rightful throne.

Loma will never beat Tank. Loma fights scared when he's in against punchers. Tank will **** him up badly. Watch the Teo fight and see he was scared shjtless to throw a punch.

I wasn't particularly rooting for either boxer, and it wasn't a match-up I was looking forward to. I watched the entire DAZN card from the Youtube prelims to main event, and Cordina/Rakhimov lived up to my expectations. Maybe if I hadn't watched so much boxing leading up to Garcia/Davis, I would've stuck with it. But I felt like I watched all that I needed to see, and if I missed anything substantial, I could always re-watch it. The fight ended two rounds after I tuned out.
