floyd just fought a guy two weight class divisions below his and still did not make the agreed weight. it was a tune-up fight but he could have at least fought a guy his size instead of fooling the public by fighting the recognized #2 guy who clearly had little to no shot of giving him a challenge. the bad thing about it is that it was billed a super fight.
pacquiao is fighting one of the top welterweights in his second fight at that weight, right after beating the crap out of the best jr. welterweight. that takes some major balls cause he's already on top, and does not need to prove anything anymore. he could have fought someone like valero and still would have been ranked number 1 in the world above floyd (yahoo rankings is ****. paul williams at #3? give me a break)
if pacquiao and floyd fought, i would favor floyd to win. ive been saying that since the oscar fight and still have'nt changed my mind. but pacquiao has a better legacy than floyd even if floyd beats him.

floyd has better skills than pacquiao.
but pacquiao had a better resume, better opposition, better wins, had more world championships, and had more lineal championships than floyd.

I'm asking because I haven't seen an external list yet, and I would find that interesting.
