EXACTLY! Everybody wants to fight Mosley at 147 but he doesnt
want to fight them because he wants a BIG MONEY fight and to
him Berto/Clottey/Cintron are not big money fights BUT Williams
has offered Mosley way more than he got in the Cotto fight and
Shane dont want it. Everybody going hard at Pac and Floyd but
look at Mosley? He is pulling the same BS on fighters like Clottey
and Cintron that Pac and Floyd is pulling on him? Mosley wants
to be the man and is not when it comes to Pac and Floyd and
knows that he should have been but he made all kinds of dumb
career decisions AND now he is trying to sell everybody magic
beans, like guys are scared to fight him but you have guys like
Clottey/Williams/Cintron calling him out on a regular? Mosley
just wants the money BOTTOMLINE! Just like Pac and Floyd
so people need to stop getting it twisted like Mosley is fighting
to see who is the best.

Mosley did the right thing. Hatton called Floyd out on national TV, he got the fight. JMM called him out on national TV, he got the fight. Mosley calls him out on TV(in front of his face), he's wrong?? Yeah right. Another self serving Mayweather fans article. I could get behind Mayweather if he wasnt so transparent. He claims he's one of the greatest to lace em up, but has not foughth the best guys of his era. One of the best of this era was staring him in the face, challenging him to a fight and all Mayweather did was stutter and hold hands...

I even remember after Margarito he said he only wanted big money fights
and disregarded a Cotto rematch stating that it would be taking a step
backwards BUT look now......... Cotto is taking a step forward and getting
the fight Mosley was begging for AND Mosley beat the man that beat Cotto?
Mosley is a moron. He didnt want to fight Cotto in NY because of the
judging but Mosley should have been confident enough to know that
the first fight was close and he would beat Cotto this time BUT he
wasnt. I like Mosley but he has been on his smoking mirror missions
            lately.

              Max Kellerman was absolutely wrong...

and indeed had a very inflated ego that night. He completely shut down mayweather. Mayweather does avoid a lot of questions, yes, but that's why we have experienced analysts and interviewers on hand. It's to sort of find ways to nudge hard to answer questions out of not so willing boxers whom often refer to their teams and promoters when asked difficult questions. When a fighter wins, especially to the Mayweather won after a two year absence from the ring, it's his time to shine. He is to be asked several questions and if the interviewer doesn't get an answer he likes, well, too bad.
For anyone to secure a fight with mayweather it has to make sense by numbers first. The payday anyone fights between Pacquiao and Mosley is drastically different and that is where Mayweather is right now. Pacquiao wants Floyd (well, I'll keep an ear out for his interview after the cotto fight) and Floyd definitely want's Pacquiao. Floyd feels he has some things to work on which is good. Pacquiao is headed into a mega fight and we'll see how good he actually is.
Max is a very bright guy. He is opinionated and quite out spoken and I haven't had a problem wiith him up until the interview after Mayweather/Marquez. But I feel he did shut mayweather out of his victory speach on a night where he was not only returning, but where he reestablished himself as the elite on the Pound for Pound rankings. All of that should have been discussed and addressed and then you go into other opponenets. Fighters need a little time to celebrate after all that damn work. They usually don't want to even think about another fight for at least a couple of weeks. Especially when you're on top or one step away from it.
This is what separates Shane from the top guys. Shane is always chasing someone, losing here and there and calling himself the best. For a long time shane felt he wasn't getting the credit oscar was, especially after he beat him. He claims he never fights for money. It seems his heart is in the right place but is business sense isn't. The reason why you are chasing fights at this stage of your career shane is because even thought you are a quality opponent, if you left tomorrow, it would be okay. No one "needs" you. In this arena called boxing you have to create something called "leverage." And you know what Mayweather has for leverage, top level rankings and an undefeated record which everyone wants to see disappear. And he's not going to allow that to happen.
Shane, keep fighting and keep winning. Become number two or number three in the rankings. Don't lose a fight anymore. Just do not do it and you'll get your shot. All winners have their day. That loss to Cotto hurt you more than you think. Think about if you beat Cotto & Margarito where you would be right now... Potentially fighting Pacquiao if he didn't avoid you or Mayweather. It's not about "what Shane or GBP wants. It's about what SELLS. And leverage is the key to creating what sells.

The difference was that Hatton and Marquez called out Floyd after impressive victories during THEIR post fight interviews. Mosley is full of ****!! This is about money and nothing else. Otherwise he would have tried to redeem his defeat against Cotto, accepted Paul Williams' challenge or the Berto fight would be a done deal by now. Shane is looking for a payday.

Mosley can beg all he wants, Floyd holds the cards and it would be foolish of Mayweather (financially) to fight Mosley instead of the winner of Pacquiao/Cotto.

Its foolish legacy wise as well

Shane is a 38 year old man, Cotto and Pacquiao are younger than Mayweather
