GAYWEATHER IS A TOTAL FRAUD THAT ONLY FACES LITWEIGHTS OR 140LBERS, TOTAL FOKKIN COWARD AND DUCKER OF the worst type and then we have to hear how great he is self proclaimed and otherwise!!! i feel like puking !!! mosley the man to beat at welter not pac and not fraud DUCKWEATHER.
from the fact that Mosley has mismanaged his career
for far too long. I doubt very highly Floyd is scared of
any of those guys. All I have to say is lets see what
Floyd does next. I just feel like all the weight is on Floyd
shoulders and to me that doesnt seem fair. How can
you say "Oh Shane couldnt fight him then and thats cool
but NOW Floyd has to fight him because NOW Shane is
ready"? What sense does that make? Shane went on vacation
and let his wife dictate his career and blatantly had Shane
stay away from Floyd. Time has changed and Floyd is deciding
what to do with his career and whats so wrong with that?
Shane is going to get his and get shut up after all his whining
and complaining. If he was smart, he should of just fought
another fighter after Margarito like a rematch with Cotto
(in which he disregarded Cotto) or a fight with Clottey.
He had all the options but he opted to chase Pac and Floyd
so who fault is that?

god this article is so bias and you can tell just how much based upon the fact he doesnt say one good thing about any of the GBP clan. Funny how he doesnt state that for once Mayweather is going to take on an opponent his own size.

floyds not gonna be ready to fight by jan 30th. shane should just fight berto and then try and get a fight with floyd sometime next year. shane hasnt fought in a year and hes 38 he needs to fight someone. fighting floyd after not fighting for a year would be ****** but hes mismanaged his entire career so it wouldnt surprize me if he managed to **** this up too.

They have failed miserably. For that matter, so has Shane Mosley.
It should be a problem first for Mosley and Golden Boy to deal with from within, and then sort out the rest with HBO.
Instead, their follies have now somehow become Floyd Mayweather Jr’s problem.
Mayweather was barely five minutes into celebrating a virtual shutout over Juan Manuel Marquez in his first fight in more than 21 months before he was put on the spot to commit to his next fight.
The perception going into the evening was that Mayweather-Marquez was an expensive infomercial to sell a Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao super fight sometime next year, assuming that Pacquiao survives his November showdown with Miguel Cotto, by no means a given. [details]

It appeared to me that Mosley was in the ring because...he's a GBP exec. He was in the ring prior to the fight as well. Floyd called him over which is how the whole thing started. Pointing fingers, I'd say Hopkins was the instighator and Max completely failed and came off as a total jackass.

his true colors is showing. He absolutely DESTROYED Margarito!
and should have went for a Cotto rematch EARLY to settle
everything and Im sure if he would have challenged and beat
Cotto this time around, Floyd and or Pac would have known Mosley
was the man to beat BUT instead of Mosley taking charge of his
career and making some smart business decisions, he left his career
in the hands of other fighters who have their own careers? Sure in
a perfect world the best fight the best BUT now in these days and
times you have to make yourself into the fighter to beat. Sure Mosley
had a great win over Margarito and a action packed career but he still
didnt put himself in that lime light like Floyd and Pac. Discredit him
all you want, but Floyd did right by going after Oscar and Hatton.
Regardless if you want to count Mitchell/Zab/Baldomir as legit WWs,
Fact of the matter is two out of the 3 held titles and Floyd became
the Lineal champ of the division and forced Oscar hand. Why didnt
Mosley just go after a rematch with Cotto or just fight and beat Clottey
to own the division? Way better bargaining and leverage then just
saying "Look, Im the best, fight me" Shane should have been wiser
after Margarito and he would have came off big time BUT I just think
he doesnt feel that confident with having 1 or 2 more fights before
Floyd and wants to cash out right now and retire. If that wasnt the
case he would have fought at WW again by now and strengthen his
position. A lot of posters on here are writing with the feelings and
getting too emotional with this because Mosley F**Kd up not anyone
else.

A Mayweather/Mosley fight is not going to happen anytime soon. Next stop for the Mayweather camp is Pac around May or June. Mosley's best best is to pray for a Cotto victory in November. I think Floyd would prefer to fight Mosley rather than Cotto. Floyd is looking for that huge payday.
